Good Indian food. We tried Chicken Lollypop, Chicken Fry Biryani and Vermicelli Payasam. All of them were very tasty. Best part was that Chicken Lollypop was not sweet at all. Payasam could have been a bit less sweet. Food was served hot. Lady who served us was good and had good info about menu items. Some tables are very close to each other and if person on table besides you is loud then it’s a bit annoying.

We’re visiting Belfast from England for a short city break, and my husband knows how much I love authentic Hyderabadi biryani. He surprised me by finding Andhra Bhavan, and honestly, it became one of the highlights of our trip.

Being from Hyderabad, I can truly say I didn’t miss the authentic taste at all — the biryani was spot on, full of flavour, and felt like home.

My kids loved the pani puri, we shared a masala dosa, my husband enjoyed the naan with mutton curry, and every dish was fresh, comforting, and beautifully prepared.

A special and heartfelt thanks to Dhanush, who looked after us during our visit. His professionalism, warmth, and genuine care made the entire experience even better. He represents the kind of dedication and pride that makes a place memorable, and he truly deserves recognition.

Thank you, Andhra Bhavan, for bringing a real taste of home to Belfast. We’ll definitely be back and recommending this place to anyone who loves authentic South Indian food.

This restaurant fits about 30 customers. The service is good. The food is good.

I ordered Paneer Makhani with garlic naan for about €27. The Makhani has oil floating at the top of the dish, which usually means heartburn for me later on, and I wasn’t wrong. So I didn’t love that it had that much oil and that’s why I took off one star. The dish was creamy though, I’ll give it that. The portion size was enough for one person, you wouldn’t be able to split it between two people and both be full. Rice would’ve been a separate order for I think about €7. – They do offer 10% discount for cash payments.

We had a great experience at this restaurant, especially thanks to our server, Ankitha. The service was friendly, attentive, and professional from start to finish. Ankitha made us feel very welcome and took great care of us. The food arrived on time and everything was excellent. Highly recommend this place for both the food and the wonderful service!

I had an amazing dining experience at Andhra Bhavan on Marlborough Street, Dublin! From start to finish, everything was full of authentic Indian flavors and beautifully prepared.

The Garlic and Plain Naan were perfectly soft and fresh from the tandoor — ideal for soaking up the rich gravies. The Bhuna Chicken was absolutely delicious — tender, flavorful, and packed with aromatic spices that really stood out. The Dal was hearty and comforting, with that perfect home-style taste. And the Lamb Biryani was a showstopper — fragrant, perfectly cooked rice with melt-in-your-mouth lamb and just the right balance of spice.

The service was warm and welcoming, and the staff made sure everything was spot on. You can really taste the authenticity and care in every dish. If you’re craving genuine Indian food in Dublin, Andhra Bhavan is a must-visit!

The Chole Bhatura was absolutely delicious—perfectly cooked and bursting with flavor. The 65 Biryani, while aromatic and well-prepared, was a bit too spicy for my taste. That said, the overall dining experience was excellent. The service was prompt, and the staff were exceptionally friendly, attentive, and helpful, which made the visit even more enjoyable.

Just WOW … the food in here is AMAZING… our server – Namu – was brilliant. She helped us choose dishes that absolutely were the best Indian dishes we had tasted. The variations and spices were something that we really enjoyed. Restaurant was so busy but the atmosphere was fantastic. Highly recommend!

Staff very helpful in explaining what each dish on menu was (some dishes had Indian names). Lots of Indian people eating there which speaks for itself. First time there but would definately go back. Very reasonably priced. We had the breakfast which was something different to experience. You have to go there. Thank you all for the experience.

Great place for Andhra food lovers. Chicken dum biriyani was on spot and loved the masala chai. Andhra chicken curry was authentic but less spicy. Very well maintained and good customer service. Toilets/handwashing areas needs to be cleaned/maintained well. Overall a great experience, highly recommend if you are craving for Andhra food.

Ankitha was our server and she was attentive and took care of our needs for our table during our dining experience. Really great service and when my toddler fell asleep in my lap, she brought over pillows to make sure he and I were comfortable. The food was also excellent and would not hesitate to dine again. We dined here for a late lunch 1400ish and it was quite crowded still but we did not need a reservation. I suspect if we tried to get a table at peak times or evenings for dinner there would be no tables because of the great service and food. We had the special thali and garlic naan and samosas which was more than enough to feed our family of 4.
