Our Story
Established in the spring of 2009, our Mexican restaurant has proudly served the community with passion, tradition, and heart. As a family-owned business, we believe that great food brings people together, and every guest who walks through our doors becomes part of our extended family.
Since July 14, 2022, the restaurant has been proudly managed by the Diaz family, who continue to honor the traditions and flavors that have made us a local favorite. We are widely known for our excellent service, warm hospitality, and commitment to making every dining experience memorable.

Quick stop on my way to the ozarks. Turned out to be a great family owned and delicious restaurant! Couldn’t recommend it enough! The food was excellent, typical Mexican style and the drinks kept coming! The staff were super friendly and funny! Asada tacos were some of the best I’ve had in the southern kc area. Also ordered two hard shell ground beef tacos and they were good. My dad had the shrimp in diablo sauce and woah !!!!! Definitely stop by if you’re traveling through!

From the same owners of the Holden MO restaurant. Service was friendly. Food was about average. My wife enjoyed the tamales. Thursday happy hour is from 2-5pm. My drink went dry. Great salsa, you might try the churros. OK chips. Expect to pay at least $50 for an average family. Appreciate another option in town besides the cafe.

I used to come here all the time. The food was great for the first year under new management. And there is one cook that cooks very well, however I seem to always go when a different cook is cooking and their food is very very sub par.
Almost no taste to the rice, most of the time the chips are too well done, and the flavor isn’t there with most of the meats.
The food is above average when a particular cook is cooking, it’s just not worth the risk going and getting the below average cook. I am also assuming there is multiple cooks because the food difference is astonishing some days.
