This was our first ever visit to this place so we didn’t know what to expect. We were pleasantly surprised because the Fish N Chips (Cod) was amazing! The batter is very crispy and light. Also the portions were huge! I really liked the tartar sauce as well. Good Quality! My husband got the Fish N Chips Mixto (mixed seafood) and he liked it as well. The service was also amazing very pleasant and helpful! We will definitely be back as they seem to be the best place in the South Bay for Fish N Chips that I have tried!

10/10 recommended. I love this place and my co worker frequent here and she always bring the fish and chip if we have an event, or pot luck at work. And one day I was craving it so I had to have some and this locations is literally 5 mins from my job. The fish was just so crispy and the fries cooked to perfection. Definitely on my lunch spot list !!

Reviews did not disappoint. This place was fabulous- crab cakes- delish. Classic Fish & Chips- fresh and fabulous. Halibut- buttery and cooked perfect. Zero negative things to say about the food. Service was a bit slow, but the food was fresh and hot, so it was okay! Quiet, friendly location. Easy parking. GO! Its very worth it.

Plenty of parking. Sat on the outdoor patio because we had our dog. The service was friendly and fast. I really appreciated that the server remembered our dog’s name and offered him water.

I love being in the Willow Glen area and one of my very favorite places to go is Anchors on Meridian. The staff is so nice and the food is amazing. I love their salmon caesar, the chowder bowl, the seafood in a white sauce with pasta. It’s all so tasty and good. I recommend going there lunch or dinner!

I was so surprised by this unassuming place in a strip mall off Meridian and Willow. Food was very good and the service was too. It’s not fancy but it’s comfortable and has decent parking.
The salads are huge so plan to split them unless it’s your main entree. The lime shrimp tacos were tasty and my parents loved their salmon and petrale sole dishes. The grilled veggies were very good with the salmon.
I look forward to going back to try many other things on the menu .

Stopped in by chance for lunch, being that their sign caught my attention. I’ve been craving a good fish and chips spot for sometime. I saw that they had good reviews and decided I’d try them out. The staff were very attentive and friendly. The food arrived fairly quickly and fresh which was a huge bonus. I ordered the fish and chips combo plate with a cod fillet, huge jumbo shrimp, fried oysters, and scallops. All the seafood definitely was fresh and cooked right. Definitely will return with family to sample some dinner options when I’m nearby next time.

We had an absolutely fantastic time celebrating a birthday at Anchors! From start to finish, everything exceeded our expectations. The food was phenomenal — we indulged in crab cakes, calamari, scallops, petrale sole, garlic fries, a lobster roll, and more — every single dish was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared.
The service was just as impressive. The staff went above and beyond to make our celebration special — helping us set up our birthday banner and balloons, joining in to sing Happy Birthday, and making sure our table was always taken care of. Their warmth and attention to detail truly made us feel like honored guests.

If you are looking for fish with batter on it, and American fries, it’s marginal. If you are comparing it to English fish a chips get ready to be disappointed. On the batter, real fish and chips takes in the vinegar and stays intact and crispy, not here. Where the vinegar makes contact, the batter turns to a goopy mess, like it curled into the fetal position and wept, not very British at all! I inquired about some extra oysters…they wanted $4.00 a piece for them! The Iced tea was okay. Also of note, no cocktail sauce was offered for the shrimp and scallops, just ketchup. Sadness.
