We only had one dinner in Bermuda, and we’re so glad we went to the Anchor restaurant! Our server Jay was an absolute Allstar, as she was so friendly, professional and fast at service.
We ended up having the sushi, and omg was that incredible! Chef Marco made us some spectacular rolls, that were so fresh and delicious. The manager William and his team were also so welcoming, and made us feel part of their family.
Our waiter Jovi was also very attentive, as he went above and beyond to ensure that we had a great dinning experience. The food was spectacular, the atmosphere was awesome, but more importantly, the staff was truly dedicated throughout the entire evening!

I came for Bermuda’s famous fish sandwich and it did not disappoint. The fish was fresh and crispy on toasted raisin bread with a delicious tartar sauce. I’ll definitely get this again! We also enjoyed the bread pudding.

We shared a fish sandwich for lunch. Very very good! Came with fries also very very good. Raisin bread toasted just right, fried local wahoo tender and sweet, just enough tartar sauce without being “goopy”. Only gave 4 stars because I have not yet eaten another fish sandwich on the island.

Great place. If you’re familiar with Bermuda, you know it’s expensive. This place was reasonable for being in a very touristy area (the cruise ships dock here) and the sushi was exceptional. Our non-sushi eaters loved their food as well.

This place is a delightful spot conveniently located within walking distance from the cruise ship terminal. This bar provides a local dining option without the need for a drive or tour. A small trolley to the nearby mall makes it only a two-minute walk to enjoy their offerings. The sushi is very nice, reasonably authentic, and the selection is fair. Drinks were delightful, and the atmosphere retains a local feel despite the touristy location. We enjoyed chatting with the waiter, learning about Bermuda. It’s a pleasant restaurant for a quick drink or bite, especially if you’re short on time to venture to Hamilton or St. George.

One of the best fish sandwiches I’ve had! The bread was toasted perfectly, the fish was soft on the inside with a crunchy crust, and the sauce paired perfectly with the other ingredients. It’s a plus for me that the fries where crispy. On top of that, the servers were incredibly attentive and friendly. I will be returning the next time I visit Bermunda.

The crew from the Bermuda Triangle Shipwreck snorkel crew told us this place had the best fish sandwich on the island and it wasn’t a fib! Definitely a great sandwich in a great setting and very polite waiter! Easy to find off the Kings Wharf where the cruise ships come in! Highly recommended!

Delicious! We were docked in Bermuda and were directed to this restaurant by one of the locals from the Clocktower Mall. We wanted something authentic from the island and we got it! Absolutely delicious food! I enjoyed a local dish, a fried fish sandwich with lettuce, tomato and tartar sauce on fluffy, toasted raisin bread. Sounds like an odd combination, I know, but it was soooo gooood! My husband had the fish and chips (haddock) which was fried to perfection. The rum swizzles were very tasty also. This is a must stop every time we are in Bermuda.

Wish I could give your establishment more than 5 stars! This was one of the best dining experiences I’ve ever had. Mauz, the owner, sat with us for a good 30 min just chatting about the island, our families and whatever else came to mind. The food was amazing and he even taught my sister in law how to make a few drinks. He was super kind to our kids and the servers were equally nice and accommodating. We LOVED Bermuda and our experience there. Will Def good back if we are ever in the area again.

May I please give 10 stars? William saw our distress, okay we were just hot from our walk from the pier to the beach and to his restaurant. He quickly ushered us into the air conditioned dining area and gave us cold water.
His service was exemplary. He patiently explained the sushi choices to two non-sushi eating people. He went above and beyond his service by allowing me to sample the salmon. With his recommendation, I ordered salmon nigiri; and my husband ordered their world famous fish sandwich. Who knew a fish sandwich could be so delicious? It was made on raisin bread and with a sauce that is ineffable.
I highly encourage you to dine at Anchor Restaurant. You will not be disappointed.
