My first time visiting the infamous Anchor Bar in Frisco, and it brought back so many memories! I used to hit up the original location in Buffalo when I was younger, so walking in felt super nostalgic. Thrilled to finally have a spot like this in the Dallas area; no more long trips for that classic wing fix.
I ordered the Garlic Parmesan, Mango Habanero, and traditional Hot wings. All three were spot-on: crispy, juicy, and sauced perfectly. The Garlic Parm was rich and garlicky without being overwhelming, the Mango Habanero had that great sweet & heat balance (not too crazy spicy), and the Hot delivered that authentic Buffalo kick I remember. Wings came out hot and fresh, definitely hit the spot.
The place has a fun, laid-back sports bar vibe with plenty of screens. Service was friendly and quick too. If you’re craving real-deal Buffalo wings without leaving Texas, this is the place. Already planning my next visit, highly recommend!

The wings were really good crispy and juicy! Only thing it lacked was I could use a little more sauce on them. The candy apple martini was pretty tasty. I made it back for visit number two! The pizza logs were amazing I forgot to get a picture but I enjoyed them. This time I asked for my wings to be wet and much better! I only had sweet tea this time it wasn’t my favorite not sure what it’s sweetened with but didn’t taste like sugar.

Went for lunch during their soft open, you wouldn’t know it was a soft open. The staff were all friendly, well trained. Food was great, came out quickly. The lunch specials are a perfect size and price. Overall a great new lunch spot, looking forward to going back soon.

Amazing attention from the entire staff! The owner took the time to tell us his background and vision. You can tell this place means a lot to him and his dedication is admirable.
Although we’re in Texas, this place has been made with Bills Mafia in mind, ask them about the Bills room!

Great spot and amazing wings! They did an amazing job for their soft opening and we definitely tested the kitchen. 50 wings were great, the fries were alright, blue cheese was on point and the ranch was ok. Definitely my new spot for wings in Frisco.

Had a great experience at Anchor Bar in Frisco! The food was amazing and everything we ordered came out hot and full of flavor. The drinks came out fast and were made perfectly, which made the whole experience even better.
Jeremy was our waiter and he did an awesome job. He was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed the whole time. Great service and great atmosphere. We’ll definitely be coming back!

First time at the Frisco location. Wi used to live in San Antonio and the wings/food/service were always top notch.
This picture is from Super Bowl Sunday where we ordered 50 wings. I picked them up and all the wings were just thrown in together, there were merely 6 celery stalks, and 5 dipping sauces which I had to pay more to get, I would have only got 2 had I not ordered them.
The wings WERE good, but the presentation and accompanying sides were really lacking and I didn’t feel like I got my money’s worth out of it. I hope this was a Super Bowl rush-induced oversight and isn’t a systemic QC issue because this place has been a solid wing place for us for years.

Wings were Small and the “original” Buffalo sauce was rather boring. Not enough dipping sauce for 10 wings. Bartenders were nice and hustled great service. Good place to watch a game. Wings are ok at best.

We had the best experience at Anchor Bar in Frisco, and a huge part of that was because of Sadie! From the moment we walked in, she was so welcoming and kind. You can tell she genuinely cares about making guests feel comfortable. She kept everything running smoothly, had such a positive attitude, and honestly just made the whole vibe better. It’s rare to come across someone who is that attentive and friendly without it feeling forced. Sadie was amazing. Give this girl a raise! We’ll definitely be back.
