Anatta’s sits tucked into a shared open-air space with a handful of other food truck restaurants. Don’t let the casual picnic tables fool you—the pad thai rivals (and maybe even tops) any I’ve had. We ordered it with shrimp, and they were impressive: large, fresh, and perfectly grilled. The noodles were just right, with a generous crunch of peanuts and bean sprouts.
The fried rice turned out to be the unexpected favorite of my ultra-picky companion. The chicken sticks won us over with their smoky char and flavorful sauce. Every dish was so good we nearly kept eating past full, but the portions were huge, so half of it came home with us. Lucky for us—that means breakfast is already taken care of.
We’ve still got a few more days on the island, and Anatta’s has already earned a spot for a return visit.

Loved the vegetarian options.Highly recommend spring rolls & tofu fried rice with spicy options to add on the side. It was hot, freshly made & tasted the best so far for us

Extremely delicious red curry. The curry had a perfect spice level. There is very limited space nearby to sit, but if you find one, its a very peaceful place to enjoy lunch. There is also abundant parking spots. Pad thai was also very delicious. We tried the combo plate and it was totally worth it. Highly recommend it.

I went to try it out this place because of the google ratings and the review on tiktok by tourist. The food presentation and quality is beautiful however the taste is just plain water down sweetness. The lady who took down my order didn’t care to tell me they don’t make papaya mild spicy nor spicy. When I asked her if I can have my papaya spicy she acknowledged but still made my papaya order non spicy and plain. My sil we both order papaya combo and both our papaya taste the same. The Thai tea was the only thing that tasted authentic. The curry had 4 piece of chicken and 4 leafs of basil only. The rest was cabbage. The seller probably thought we were people who didn’t know how Thai food should taste like. We didn’t finish the food. We end up tossing it away and we had to look for their trashcan because they don’t have a shared trashcan and they hid their trashcan in the back of their food truck. We only knew it belong to them because it was label ” thai food” .
I honestly wouldn’t recommend this food truck to anyone who wants Thai food and is visiting Kauai. Its a waste of money. They were greedy with utensils and napkins. Instead please support the food truck that is across from them. He’s a gentleman who was handing out samples with a wonderful customer service. He was willing to give me extra napkins and utensils. Thank you.

The food was delicious! I wish I had more time on the island to be able to eat here again. We had a few plates and all were great.
The lady that took our order was super nice and answered all our questions.
They have a few trucks in the same lot and have tables you can sit.

The food truck is in a small cute little place. Super amazing food, we ordered 2 things, Pad Thai with Tofu and fried rice with vegetables (both very very well prepared) and the best part is that it is super fresh and served hot. The vegetarian options are also great and even other chicken options are available.
Highly recommend going in and trying, the prices are also very reasonable so overall we loved eating here during our visit.

Noodles are cut and minimal. Beef was dry. Must’ve been an off night.

Only ordered papaya salad, which was awful. As others have commented, it just tasted like watered-down sweetness. No acidity, no fish sauce, no spiciness, nothing like authentic Thai. Peanuts on top were unevenly charred and it was mostly just papaya, limited other veg. Skip and go elsewhere.

I wanted to give this place a better rating, and maybe I just chose the wrong entree, but truthfully the Green Curry Beef had an odd flavor. The Chicken may have been a better choice; but then again, being from the mainland I’m used to grain fed beef, and not grass fed beef, which is generally superior. I encourage you to try it for yourself, because there other entrees may be better.
