Food: The prices are a bit absurd for just being entrees, and then sides and drinks aren’t included, which always feels tacky to me. I understand it’s a business, but having things set up to include as meals would be better.
I ordered the garlic parm wings, and my pictures show most of the sauce comes off, and they just tossed cold cheese over it. I used a spoon to scoop up the sauce onto them, which was very good. The wings themselves, excluding the sauce, were very good. The fries were well seasoned.
The classic sub was also very tasty and fresh. Definitely quality ingredients!
Atmosphere: The front was very inviting but busy. It’s hard to see the menu with so much in the way. The sitting areas themselves were all right. Standard booths and tables and a nice view outside.
Service: it’s self-service, so you get your own refills and dispose of your own trash. It’s not a bad thing, just an FYI.
Overall: I wasn’t overly impressed with the wings, but there’s plenty more to try so I’ll give the place another chance with other food.
First time eating here after passing by often. I ordered a chicken Caesar salad. It looked good and tasted okay, but nothing special.
The chicken was well-seasoned, and since it’s a Caesar salad with few ingredients, I was really looking forward to the crunch. Unfortunately, the croutons were soggy—basically just wet bread. I asked for a fresh batch and was told that’s their homemade bread and that’s how it comes.
Soggy bread shouldn’t be called croutons.
Chicken Alfredo? Huge, delicious portion. Cuban sandwich? Amazing first bite and every bite after.
Combined with the great connected walking paths in Rome, Ana’s will be a regular stop this summer.
Situated in downtown Rome the street is charming and there are plenty of other things to do while visiting. The only downfall is seating is somewhat limited inside, but the patio provides additional space. This does give the feel like you know everyone you’re sitting with adding to the appeal of Ana’s.
Prices were very reasonable for the size of the sandwich and sides. I don’t get over to Rome that often but I would absolutely come back.
