First thing, this is a really nice and cool place. The service was absolutely great, but it was touted as a hamburger place, and my burger was not very good. First off, It was supposed to be a hatch chili pepper Burger, and I could not taste any of the HATCH chili sauce. No Chili taste at all. I also got grilled jalapenos, and they gave me like one little slice and an end. The Burger ready had no seasoning, and the pepper jack cheese was invisible. I was very disappointed in the Burger.

Here was where I discovered one of my now favorite eats! Fried green chili strips, where have you been all of my life? Yes, I took my extras back to Texas. The fried mozzarella sticks were no slouch either. If you want fresh mozzarella sticks, this is the place. No pre-made frozen sticks here. The husband and I shared the the fish and chips. The fish was fresh and you can taste the beer in the crispy batter. Husband loved the fries, they are had cut and well seasoned. We also tried, and had the craft root beer to go it was so creamy and delish. Most definitely recommend. Our server was polite and friendly, well attentive.

I wish I had remembered to take photo of cheese sticks. They are freaking amazing and the highlight of the meal. We had the burger with blue cheese and buffalo sauce. It was really dry and lacking in flavor that’s why 4 out of 5 stars. Our server was terrific and very attentive despite being packed. The cheese sticks alone were well worth the trip.

I’ve had coworkers tell me I needed to come visit Anaheim Jack’s when I go to Ruidoso next. Well I have and I regret not coming here much sooner! The staff is friendly and attentive and the food was delicious! I got the Curly Bill burger and asked for a fried egg on it and got a side of fried okra. I was expecting the food to be good but I was surprised that it exceeded my expectations by far. It is a little pricey but you’re definitely going to get a lot of bang for your buck. Make it a point to stop here when you’re looking for food because it’s well worth it, I promise!

The food is pretty good. Not too overpriced, I did get The Regulator, though, and they put almost no syrup on it even though I asked for extra. When I asked the waitress, she said that was the extra, which was surprising. We ended up just asking for more extra, it was like 1 or something for the extra syrup, and not a lot of extra syrup. That was my only complaint though, all in all their food is really good and the staff always seems upbeat. The waits are also only long when it’s the busy times in tourist season.

Burgers are tasty tasty here. We went twice while in town because that’s how good the food was. The second time I got a chicken sandwich and it was also pretty solid. The boneless wings were good, lemon pepper was the better of the two flavors we tried. We tried the mushroom caps and those were just alright, nothing too special. However their queso was amazing, wish they gave more of it and less of the chips with the app.

It’s one of the better rated places in the Ruidoso area. I guess. It was a decent place and the new addition has a great view and the breeze that comes in when they open the windows is nice. The food is average. The burgers were nothing to remember. I really liked the fried okra and fried pickles. The queso had no meat even though it’s on the menu. It may just be me but the food didn’t agree with me either.

There appeared to be a staff shortage, but they made do. The burger I ordered was less than amazing. The toppings for the requested burger were hard to find. I must admit, though, the portions of the sides were impressive. But, we didn’t go there for the sides.
