Staff was so friendly. Our waitress was very attentive. Food came out hot and fresh. Everything was absolutely delicious. Try the miso dip as an appetizer. The tempura was super yummy too!

Only 4 stars this visit sadly, not sure exactly what’s going on but the past couple times were near as great as the first. Still enjoyed a nice meal and food was pretty good. Our server was awesome!

Me and my husband occasionally eat here for date nights and always enjoy the food. They offer a menu that ranges from typical Japanese hibachi to more adventurous dishes that aren’t found in other restaurants in the area and all of it is great quality.

I went here because my friend and daughter said they like it here. I got seated i wanted over 10 min for my waitress. They was other tables around me ,with their waitress and waiter. I finally hear the waiter asking who had the table i was at. No one told her i was there. Her other tables was at the other end. I gave her my order. Food out to the table like it should be. My beef tips was a little over cooked. I order medium -rare it come well down. The roll i order came apart, but i understand that.people are learning. The waitress was wonderful that’s why i didnt leave and give three stars. She keep my water full plus keep up with her other customers. All your waitress and waiter look like they work good. i told my friend i might go back with her when she goes next time.

First time here. Really great place to come to. The food is incredibly delicious! And the ramen is fire! the chashu ramen is excellent. I got it in the shoyu flavor. Big bowl. Excellent broth. Absolutely recommended. Come here if you love Japanese food. I will definitely be coming back

Driving back home, I took a chance and pulled in here and glad I did. This was the best tonkotsu ramen I’ve had. Get it with chasu, I dare you to not like it.

Some of the dishes were hit and miss. The ones that hit though hit very well. The ones that missed only missed due to small things like maybe the sauce on this was too overpowering or the meat on a another was a little tough. Overall the portions were actually fantastically sized and the food for the most part enjoyable. The atmosphere could do with a little more, they seem to try and make up for it with Tvs but I think they’re really trying. I feel the biggest highlight is the service. Our waitress was an absolute doll and the warmth didn’t feel forced. I often visit places where the wait staff are robotic with a fake smile and they read off a script. She however, was kind and had lovely banter. As we were leaving, even having never spoken to the cooking staff, they happily and warmly bid us farewell. Altogether a worthy trip to a small place tucked away in maryville.
