The food was good, but it wasn’t the best. I especially loved the mini pancakes, because they were flavorful. It was a little bit more expensive than my usual Viet spot, but the portions weren’t small. Super nice and polite staff!!!

I enjoyed eating here, as well as my family. The service was great, the people there were nice. The food was delicious. I tried the pork chop, five spice chicken, and egg rolls, and even the banana sticky rice roll and they were all good. I’ll definitely come here again. It seems they also have Uber Eats for delivery, so I might try that next. Overall a good experience.

Casual spot. Friendly and attentive staff.
Portions are a bit on the larger side.
Look out for the BOGO drink options – check the wall. Vegetarian options available.
Food was tasty.

We had not been back to this place for several years, even though we live nearby. At that time, the food was okay.

Today, we decided to try them again. We came here to eat lunch.

My wife ordered pho ga and I had the Bun Bo Hue. We also ordered cha gio as an appetizer.

Our order was taken by a older lady who may have been the proprietress. She was very nice and attentive.

Our food came out promptly and hot. The cha gio has crispy rice paper skin, the bun Bo hue had alot of flavor.

The service was great throughout the meal.

We will be returning regularly as we hoped this is a turnaround for An Chi.

PS The only nitpick I have is I wish they gave us more herbs, cilantro and sprouts with our noodles. I know that non-Vietnamese do not eat that, but that is what’s expected.

I ordered rare beef pho, but the meat was extremely disappointing. Instead of the usual thinly sliced beef, I received a few shaved pieces that completely fell apart when touched, along with thinly shaved pieces of fat. Most other places serve proper thin slices of beef, not this. For an $18 takeout order of a large soup, it was unacceptable—there wasn’t even 5 grams of actual meat, and my daughter refused to eat it. I won’t be ordering pho from here again. The pictures are from the same plate.

Ordered:
– pork chop broken rice plate with fried egg (#32: com tam suon, cha gio, trung)
– charbroiled pork broken rice plate with fried egg (substitute meat #32: thit nuong instead of suon)
– fried shrimp cake (#51: dau hy ky)
– grilled banana sticky rice dessert (#54: banh chuoi nep nuong)

meat was not overcooked and had good marinade. would order com tam thit nuong again and try their banh mi.

growing up in San Jose, there aren’t many com tam places in SF.
