Read if you have patience and want to know the full experience of what we had and if you are looking for quality food.

We ordered food at this place because they advertise that they are bringing the authentic taste of South Indian to the Seattle folks. So, I ordered the following for whole family and friends.

Tatte idly
Poori with curry
Mysore bonda
Punugulu
Ghee dosa
Cheese dosa

I will give detailed explanation of how each item tastes and how they made it.

Poori with curry;
Their images show it as Bombay chutney. So I ordered it. Instead they gave korma.

In south India , poori is either made with wholewheat or atta. I don’t know which part of south India these guys come from. They made poori with maida.

So, this is not authentic South Indian food.

Punugulu:
Punugulu is from Andhra or telangana. They are usually soft not hard or crunchy.

What they made is not called punugulu. They are called normal bonda. They are so hard. Hence called bonda.

They are good. But should not be called punugulu,.

Mysore bonda:
The show stopper. Very bad and terrible.

The size is so huge for each Mysore bonda. And undercooked inside and hard like rubber.

We did not even eat one piece.

Authentic Mysore bonda from south India so soft like cotton and can tear party with two fingers. We had to use ten fingers to try and make a piece out of theirs. I can write all day about this.

Ghee dosa and cheese dosa:
The amount of ghee in this is perfect.

The amount of cheese in cheese dosa is like WAY less. I mean it is probably 1 teaspoon, so bad.

Now to dosa fermentation, I think the batter is four days or a week old. Because it’s TOO SOUR. eating this would cause tummy upset for most folks. And unfortunately some of us did. Don’t use batter that is a week old, the smell itself is so sour.

Tatte Idli;
This is the only thing that is authentic South Indian style and so good.

They forgot to give podi on the side for all four of our orders of idli.

Feel free to only go here for idli if you want authentic South Indian food.

Don’t try anything else.

Good luck…

This food truck is a hidden gem for South Indian food lovers! Very close to Costco so perfect place to stop by after shopping trip.

The dosas taste just like homemade – crispy on the outside and soft inside, with a comforting, authentic flavor that’s hard to find elsewhere. The chutneys were fresh and flavorful, made with good ingredients.

The service was friendly and efficient, though the wait time during peak hours can be a bit long. Also, this is a food truck so no seating but a grab-and-go spot. Still, totally worth it for the taste and quality.

If you’re craving traditional South Indian comfort food, this place hits the spot!

Craving for freshly made authentic South Indian food, this truck is a perfect stop. Loved their Nellore Karam dosa, it was made crispy and soft, blended with spices and super flavorful, served with two types of chutney. The pungulu were worth trying and tasty. The customer service is very good. The surroundings looked serene and hygienic. I would definitely recommend this truck.

We ordered thatte idly, stuffed mirchi and mysore masala dosa.
Thatte idli was cold and average taste.
Stuffed mirchi also very average. You can skip it not worth the price. Only 3 Mirchi’s for $7 and does not come with chutney.
Mysore masala dosa is very good. Very nice spice.
For thatte idli – 2/5, Mirchi – 2/5, MM Dosa – 4/5

I usually don’t write reviews, but this experience really frustrated me. We ordered dosa, but it was not very tasty. We also ordered a potato puff, but they gave us a paneer puff instead, which we didn’t like. We had also paid for extra peanut chutney, but they didn’t provide it. I was very frustrated while eating the food at home. I was disappointed in every possible way by their service.
