Loved this place!!! Great food, simple and classic menu. Had the chicken Bhuna, chicken tikka masala and peshwari nan. All super tasty. The servers were very polite and wanted to ensure you had a good experience. The only criticism was the atmosphere. It was a bit stale and when someone ordered a dish that came on a hot griddle the smoke caused most of the restaurant to cough. The lighting maybe others style but it could be a bit much.

For food, for service though I highly recommend this place!!

A great restaurant with helpful staff, tasty authentic Indian dishes but lacks wheelchair access and ambience. The service is rather slow and Shiraz red wine very sharp and did not taste right. Just two prawns in starter dish was poor choice.
There was no hot water in the toilet hand basin and the hand drier was ineffectual!

SO delicious!!! We found this restaurant on google for a birthday dinner as it had great reviews, and it did not disappoint!

The food was delicious and fresh, we got poppadoms to start with sauces which were very nice. Every single dish we ordered was divine – tikka masala, bhuna, biryani, paneer – everything was amazing!!!

And the service is brilliant, they were swift with taking our order, brought us a birthday cake with a sparkler in it, and moist towels and after eights afterwards – such lovely little touches!!!

We will definitely be back – thank you again!!!

Service and vibes were fabulous. Food was lovely! One of the best peshwari naans I have had. Also I got the lamb dupiaza which I really enjoyed and also the lamb saag. Would definitely recommend!

Overview:
From Kitchen to Front of House, a joy.
Recommended.

Atmosphere:
Chilled and adult, family friendly.

Food:
Simply delicious, fresh and healthy.

Menu:
Choices for all tastes without being confusing. Chefs specials sit comfortably along side “traditional dishes” fairly priced value for money.
Non-meat eaters well catered for.

Service:
Priceless.

Restaurant:
High standard of decor. Very clean.
All tableware etc. of good quality.

A good vibe and atmosphere.

Plenty of space between tables.
(Fellow dinners un-intrusive )

To me it seemed wheel chair and mobility friendly.

Service:
Excellent.
A busy service underway on a cold January Saturday night, but the warm welcome and care of the staff in meeting all our table booking requests, despite a packed house, soon banished all memories of the winters evening. Much appreciated.

Food and Menu:
The food always wins a return booking.

The house specials are original and authentic. Spice a plenty, centred on taste and flavour not incendiary heat.

Dinning companions who made traditional menu choices were very pleased.

A great range of choice and non meat eaters and vegans well caterd for.

Prices:
Fair and on the mark for the food and service and for such a venue. Reasonable.

Booking recommended.

Loved every moment there, the food was mind blowing, they have the best onion bhajis around. The staff were really welcoming, especially the young gentleman named Asif. They nailed the smallest of details perfectly like giving us warm towels when we were done and after eights with the bill. Would definitely come back!!

Gem of a place, you can probably see it from space with all the twinkling outside lights, let alone find it just outside the main area of St Albans. Tasty food, helpful staff, very clean and bright
