This was my first visit to Amphora. The first-timer sampler of pita and cheeses was great. The calamari tempura was hands down the best calamari I’ve ever had, a perfect blend of tenderness with a crispy seasoned coating. The Chicken Florentine was delicious.

The food and staff are outstanding. Authentic Mediterranean selection and local craft beer make a wonderful combination to me. I particularly like the covered outdoor seating, during fair weather of course.

Usually go to Athens in Manchester but they are closed so I thought we’d try Amphora. We weren’t disappointed it isn’t very big but with the shortage of help and product it’s probably a good thing! It’s Sunday evening came for my birthday dinner. Our server was very prompt drinks came very quickly had my retsina! Ordered humus and spanakopita for apps. Wifey ordered baked lamb shank and I had the rack of lamb both came with a salad and roasted Greek potatoes. Wifey thought the dressing was a bit salty I liked it. Her lamb was so tender it fell off the bone. My rack of lamb was cooked perfectly got 8 ribs on the plate. (Forgot to get pics of the food) only thing missing was Greek coffee. So I ordered an Irish coffee!! I highly recommend Amphora!!

This place was fantastic!! Best spinach and artichoke dip I’ve had in a long time. Their chicken wraps and gyros were very flavorful too. Will definitely be going back.

Amazing Greek food, friendly staff. Ive only ever picked up, but there’s often live music and seems like people eating-in are enjoying themselves!! Unassuming spot outside, great food inside.

Checked out this place with a friend. We shared hummus and each had falafels too. Everything was really tasty. There are booths and tables inside. Friendly service too. I would definitely like to come back and check out some of their other food options.

I love going to Amphora! I’ve been going for 12 years and it is always consistent and delicious. Pete is usually there greeting his guest and making sure everyone is taken care of! The antipasto salad is amazing! Yesterday I tried the fish dinner, WOW! Thanks Pete

Well, to tell you the truth, this restaurant is more Lebaneze cuisine and not Greek. Especially, if you are greek from Greece, you can tell the difference. We ordered melitzanosalata, for example, and they served us somerhing like spicy paprika sauce or I do not really know, what it was.. certainly overpriced in general. And also, I do not know why they named the seasoned grilled chicken, Thracian chicken, when it has nothing to do with Thrace, Greece…
