They offer custom cakes and treats, dessert catering and custom wedding cakes. Owner Jennifer Treu is a native Wisconsinite from De Pere where she graduated in 1997. With 20 years’ experience in the industry, she is delighted to bring her recipes to Denmark since 2020, where she serves with a 3 person team. Ampersand, named for the & symbol, is the “extra” in life- drizzle it with chocolate, add some color, and serve it with a smile- it’s the perfect way to celebrate all Wisconsin has to offer. Just found MY GO TO BAKERY in the county. We like to travel around and check out different bakeries. The selections were a little slim on a Friday afternoon, mostly I think because they were bought out and after tasting what we purchased, I can see why. Amazing flavors . Very delicious. Jennifer and her crew were amazing. Very responsive and helped answer all questions. We had nothing specific we wanted for frosting on our cutting cake other than our wedding colors and something simple. And they did great bringing that vision to life. Not to mention, my husband who is not a huge fan of cake, even thought our cake was delcious. We did truffles for our guests and everyone loved them! So happy with everything!

I highly recommend Ampersand!!! Jen was a life saver! I dropped the ball and needed some desserts last minute for my sister’s bridal shower yesterday and she made it happen! They were so cute and even more delicious! My fiancé picked up the desserts for me and he got himself a piece of the gooey cake- also delightful! We will definitely be happy to support Ampersand in the future!!

Ordered a cake here for a gender reveal. The place was recommended by our baker in Door County who made our wedding cake. Her cake was excellent. This cake looked really good, but it didn’t taste very good. It was dry and crumby. Also the homemade raspberry filling was nowhere near as good as the cake in Door County.

I stopped in for my first time yesterday. I tried the Lemon raspberry bars. So delicious! The raspberry filling was not sugared down,perfect with lemon crumble! Also bought cookies, they to are delicious! I highly recommend this bakery.

The absolutely hands-down, best, scratch bakery treats that you were going to find within a five county area is surprisingly located in the humble little setting of downtown, Denmark! Thankfully for us locals, they prefer small town business conditions and community! If they ever decided to move to an urban area, end, they would explode the competition. We’ve been to several of the TV, award-winning bake shops across the country. & Leaves them all in the dust! The taste and quality are well worth the wait for business hours, and the two minute or less drive off the highway! Seriously… You won’t find better quality or taste anywhere nearby!

While I certainly haven’t tried everything they make, everything I have tried– cupcakes, cheesecakes, key lime pie, etc… have all been amazing! Also, I once had an issue with a pre-order not going through and they absolutely made it right by gifting me free cupcakes. I just love this little bakery
