Great place. I had the porkchop special. Crazy thick chop, super delicious, good bread, wife loved her fish, had bananas foster for dessert. Service was impeccable. Lovely atmosphere. Family run, front and back of the house. Icing on the cake we were a group of 8 and allowed to enjoy a wonderful time with out feeling pressed for time.
BYOB is always a plus!

Joe & Colleen, the former owners of Il Giardinello in Toms River, NJ, have brought their culinary magic to Monmouth County with the opening of Amorina — a brand new Italian restaurant located on Main St in Marlboro, NJ, that’s already making a wonderful first impression.

The moment you walk in, you can tell how much thought and care went into creating this space. The interior is completely new — elegant, modern, and aesthetically pleasing, setting the tone for a beautiful dining experience.

Chef Joe prepares every dish with love, and it truly shows. I started with the shrimp Amorina, which was flavorful and perfectly cooked, followed by a warm and comforting bowl of pasta fagioli. For my main course, I enjoyed a grouper oreganata special — I’m so glad I ordered it, every bite was delicious. Next came the chicken scarpariello and the classic Bolognese, both hearty and full of authentic flavor.

As a lovely gesture, I was served a complimentary fruit plate while waiting for dessert — a trio of excellence: a crispy cannoli, a soft and flavorful pistachio ricotta cake, and a standout homemade tiramisu.

Everything from the service to the food felt genuine and heartfelt. Since this is a brand-new restaurant, I highly recommend giving Amorina a try. I have no doubt it’s going to become a Monmouth County favorite.

We had dinner at this new restaurant tonight, and it was absolutely delicious! We ordered the veal Parmesan on the bone and the Flounder Provinciole — both were cooked perfectly and full of flavor. The food had those wonderful old-school Italian flavors that are hard to find these days; it actually reminded me of eating dinner at Patsy’s in New York City.

The restaurant has a cozy, modern, and welcoming atmosphere, and the acoustics are great — you can actually have a conversation without shouting. It’s also a BYOB, which is a big plus! The owners were so friendly and delightful to talk to. The desserts looked amazing — we didn’t have any this time, but other patrons were raving about them.

We can’t wait to go back and try more dishes from the menu, and we’re truly wishing them all the best in this new endeavor in their Marlboro location !

My wife and I loved everything about this Italian restaurant from day one when we tried it. The welcoming atmosphere, the owners’ hands-on approach and charisma, and of course, the delicious food are unparalleled. We brag about Marlboro having the best Italian food! I’ve brought friends over, and they all agree on the high quality of the food and the attention to detail.

Great neighborhood Italian restaurant that is very family friendly. The eggplant parm never disappoints and the pasta and pizza specials are great too! Love their Aperol spritz in the summer and the spiced cider with bourbon in the winter.

My husband and I had dinner here recently and absolutely loved it! The food was amazing — full of flavor, fresh, and beautifully presented. We had also decided to have them cater our next event, and they did not disappoint. The catering was just as delicious and perfectly organized. Highly recommend this restaurant for both dining in and catering — truly outstanding food and service!
