My husband ordered a Muffalotta pizza. He said it was delicious. I ordered appetizers manicotti and Italian meatballs. They were delicious as well. There weren’t too many restaurants opened in this small camping town on Sunday , but this one was amazing!!

Good pizza, definitely popular with the locals. Try the Muffaletta salad — we split a ½ salad and each had plenty to go with dinner. Friendly waitstaff, cold beer, full bar!

Went during lunch for buffet. Everything was old and hard. Spaghetti was cold I told server about it she said she had to tell owner. Salad bar was small and lettuce was turning brown. Really wasn’t worth what we paid.

Had 1 server working in a nearly full restaurant. She seated us and didn’t come back for nearly 20 minutes (timed it after time passed). We ordered a calzone, hot honey pizza, kids cheese pizza, and kids Alfredo. The pizza and calzone were OK, and the pasta was very bland. The owner did come out to apologize for the wait. Don’t know if it’s always like this or if we caught them at a really bad night.

We have frequented Amore for many many years, even in their old location off state and jaq back in the day. We absolutely love the food. Service is a hit or miss depending on the server. Never completely terrible or anything just sometimes hard to wait on everyone at rush time when there may be only one server.

I had to try there calzone I have been everywhere trying pizza or bbq but never really tried pizza here at Louisiana. I had to load down the road and saw this place on the map. It looked so perfect not to try! So far buffet was super good and had to order a colonize to go..

I was really happy with the variety and flavor of the pizza. My favorite was a chicken roasted garlic on white sauce. The dessert options were really good as well. Great value also. $22 for two people during lunch buffet. I will go there again for sure.
