Food was amazing, place was very clean and staff was very friendly. Truly enjoyed our experience. We had the carne guisada, enchiladas verdes with chicken and empalmes and everything was amazing. Even the agua de Jamaica tasted very fresh not like powder brands. Will be visiting again soon!

I love supporting small businesses and I have been here 4 times or so but this last encounter changed my decision in coming back. Long story short there was a hair in my husband plate (which is fine happens everywhere) we asked if they can change the plate and they did and the owner comes out and goes on about how they strive to give best food and so on but she did shift the blame back to us saying “oh the hair was thick it could have been from your beard and we all wear hairnets and there is no men in kitchen, could have been your hair but we will change it” and honestly that upset me and I think it was so unprofessional especially coming from the owner. The hair was on the food and looked a little to mixed into the food for us to think it was ours. I didn’t make a scene or a big deal i just wanted the plate to be changed for our own comfort. I just didn’t expect that response coming from the owner.
