Hidden Gem: Fantastic Eats Inside a BP
Don’t let the location fool you, this spot is hidden inside the BP gas station! While the setting is unconventional, the friendly service is fast and the food is outstanding. The station also stocks a great variety of fresh-to-go lunches, home-baked goods, and healthy snacks like boiled eggs.
The Food
The Chicken Schwarma Wrap: The highlight was the pita, which is fried to a perfect crunch. The chicken stayed incredibly moist and paired beautifully with the sharp, acidic pickles.
The Garlic Sauce: Absolutely delicious, though I’ll be ordering an extra side of it next time for dipping.
The Fries: Perfectly crunchy, though they could have used a pinch more salt.
The Verdict
Despite a nearly hour-long drive, the great prices and high-quality food make this a “must visit”. Next time, I’m looking forward to trying the “Sami” with fries inside!

What a big disappointment. I ordered one chicken Shawarma wrap online. Chicken was dry and tasted like paprika. Pita tasted burnt. Not what a authentic shawarma supposed to taste like. Garlic had very little flavor . Honestly it’s overrated especially for the price . Dry flavorless shawarma. Only thing going for it was the size and the pickles. Do yourself a favor and go to middle eats or boffs market if you want flavor.

Very good shawarmas here, I got the chicken which comes with a really nice garlic sauce on it. They grill the outside of the shawarma which gives a nice flavor and crunch. This place is in a BP gas station and you have to eat in your car or take it to go. I ate my car which I never do but it was worth the exception. I recommend this place as it is probably the best shawarma I have ever had.

I am shocked to be giving this place a 3, after all the amazing social media reviews, but I honestly can’t give it more than that. We traveled a bit to get here (it’s in a gas station), because we wanted to see what people were raving about. The gentleman at front was very nice. We ordered and they told us we would get a text when it was ready, which we did. It took awhile, which is fine, but there is really no place to wait, so we waited in the car. The sandwiches were okay… we tried the meat and chicken, and both were okay. Nothing I would crave or go back for. The chicken was better than the beef. The beef was very chewy. For the price, I didn’t think the quality was there at all. The sandwiches are big though. With so many options on that side of town, we can’t see ourselves going back again.

This place was definitely overrated, which I figured it would be. We got the chicken shawarmas. $15 for each one! Insane pricing. And honestly, it was not that special. I did like that they toast the pita on the outside. And it was a tad bit longer of a shawarma than some other places. The taste was good too. But considering all these things, I can never justify it being $15. I’ve had several delicious shawarmas for as cheap as $5-7. Anyways, we tried many times to order but they wouldn’t be taking anymore orders or the wait time would be like 4 hours. Which I did expect due to the hype on social media. But when I ordered this time it was just 15 minute wait. Customer service was alright. So my advice to you is try it if you really want to, but just know it’s not gonna be mind blowing like social media makes it to be.

Was very disappointed and don’t know what all the hype is about. They really skimp on the meats and veggies, was quite dry as well. Didn’t have the crunch like the all the videos and is rather expensive. Only thing going for it is it’s a foot long and the staff were nice.

Inside a gas station so carry out only. Shawarma is very crispy. Good flavor. I like the beef more than the chicken. It is pretty pricey, but portions are large.

I tried this place right when it was at the height of its hype, and honestly, I don’t really get it. I’ll say this first: the service is great. Even when the lines were long, the staff was always friendly and professional. I understand they get busy, so delays are expected and totally fine.
As for the atmosphere, it is what it is — it’s located in a gas station, so there’s only so much ambiance you can expect at this location.
The food, though, is where it falls short for me. It’s okay, but nothing special, especially for the price. Charging $16 for a shawarma, even if it’s a large portion, feels excessive — especially in a city with so many Middle Eastern spots where you can get a better shawarma for $10–$11. For that price difference, I expected something standout, and it just wasn’t.
I think the drop-off in hype kind of speaks for itself. If it were truly worth the price, people would still be lining up like they were early on. Personally, I wouldn’t go back — not because it’s bad, but because it’s overpriced considering the quality and the number of better, more affordable options nearby.

Really like the bread being toasted to perfect crust. Its tastes decent but not the best. Or should I say not worth the price for only take out spot.
