My boyfriend and I visited the restaurant on a Friday evening. We hadn’t made a booking, but fortunately a group reservation didn’t show up (yay) so we were seated with very little wait. Our first impression was simply “wow” — the restaurant is beautiful and feels very upmarket. Everything was spotless, the staff were immaculately presented, and the Christmas décor was perfectly done.
We ordered drinks from the bar, where the staff were friendly and easy to chat with. It was also a lovely touch to see the chef come out of the kitchen to personally check how guests were enjoying their meals — something you don’t often see.
For starters, we shared poppadoms with a selection of sauces and dips, all of which were excellent. For mains, we had the Old Delhi Butter Chicken with an assorted naan basket, and the Channa Ka Shorba with a chapati. Both dishes were absolutely delicious. The naans were beautifully cooked and full of flavour, and the chapati was wonderfully soft and fluffy.
Overall, a fantastic establishment with incredible food and outstanding staff. We’ll definitely be back.

An excellent all round experience; ambience, comfort, service and food. I was staying in the hotel across the road, and decided to try Amni due to it being so near. What a wonderful experience from start to finish. I did not have a reservation but was quickly shown to a table by an exquisitely polite restaurant manager. The menu was very interesting, and he recommended several dishes, which were absolutely delicious. I must say it is one of the best Indian restaurants I have been to. Thoroughly recommendable.

This place is amazing. We’ve eaten I a lot of Indian restaurants some award winning this beat all of them. The atmosphere was great the staff were knowledgeable and friendly.

We came to AMNI for our anniversary date night back in August and were absolutely blown away by the whole experience.
We had the beautiful Jamilah looking after us for the evening, she was so attentive and helpful throughout the whole meal.
This is a family run restaurant but everything about the experience is so polished and well done. The food was incredible, my partner had the lamb shank dish and I had a Chicken Kahari – both were fantastic and full of flavour! I would highly recommend AMNI and will definitely be visiting again soon.

Oh my days!!! Fabulous! Everything had a unique touch, even the poppadom tray was different and had a twist to it and the naan basket is the future. Am moving to Chester just to eat here more often LOL
