Visiting Liberty, North Carolina, doing consulting with the local Toyota plant. Happened to see this restaurant on my way back to my Airbnb. I love Mexican food and this place did not disappoint. My servers’s name was Abby and she did a phenomenal job with speed and friendliness. She is definitely a worker!. I got the Mex burrito and it was gigantic and delicious all at the same time. An explosion of flavors with steak, chorizo, grilled onions and pineapple chunks. A great combination with the Verde across the top including the pico. I would consider this a hidden gem of a restaurant kind of in the middle of nowhere in a plaza right next to the Dollar General. Definitely worth a visit.

Really good al pastor tacos. The meat was really juicy and not dried out at all, with the taste of pineapple like it should.My wife really liked the beef fajitas. The chips and salsa were great. I liked to TexMex Rolls, although they seemed like they were fried beforehand and then reheated in a salamander or oven. They didn’t have a crunch to them. But they were still good. The waitress was AWESOME. Kept our glasses full and checked up on us regularly. She was really a sweetheart. Definitely 5 ⭐️’s because of the service and the great al pastor tacos.

Quickly became one of our favorite restaurants. It’s bigger inside then it looks, so if the parking lot is full do not think you have to wait for a table. Squeeze into a parking spot and go on in! The food is tasty and comes out hot. Our server yesterday was super fun, she had us laughing and made us feel welcomed. The serving size is large enough that you could have left overs. I had the Enchiladas de carnitas. If you like a little heat (spicy) then this is the dish for you. It has the perfect amount of heat that doesn’t over power the taste of the meal. I had no leftovers, but should have, too tasty to quit eating. I was quiet full when I left the restaurant. My husband had the Monster Burrito. He could not finish it! It did however make a great lunch for today. Will we return to this location…oh yes!

Overall it was ok. Not terrible but with so many options Amigos is off my list. Our server didn’t like to eat there and kept talking down the place, they were out of tajin for street corn, and we didn’t get a good vibe here. It wasn’t busy and then hard to get served.
