Amigos Mexican Restaurant is a family owned and operated business located in the heart of historic downtown eureka springs. We have been open since 2014 bringing delicious food from different regions of Mexico. Our family came to eureka springs back in 2000 and started working in the restaurant industry so then later in 2007 “The little familia” restaurant opened in a little town called green forest just 20 miles east of eureka springs, we were so in love of eureka that we often were looking for a vacant building to bring our food down, then finally we found our building where we are located since. This building has so much history, it was built in 1949 by volunteers of the community and then became the American legion and now Amigos.

My wife ordered the margarita and quesabarilla tacos, and I ordered the tacos de Papa. The food came out promptly at the service was friendly and professional. The tacos de Papa were pretty fantastic although I personally would like more spice in my chorizo and maybe a crispier shell for my taco but overall pretty good taco for chorizo. Next time I’m in eureka springs I’ll definitely come by for a good margarita and some awesome tacos.

I was so glad to find a reasonably priced restaurant in a tourist town. The food was a good average Mexican restaurant. There was nothing amazing about the food. There was nothing I would send back and it all had great flavor.
I had the vegetarian quesadilla which was quite nice The squash still had some bite to it which was enjoyable. My husband had the chile relleno and said he should have got the red sauce cuz it was just too much cheese. Not pictured where the case of area tacos which I could flavor but also soggy bottoms.
The drinks were spectacular we had the sangria margarita and the period I highly recommend the drinks!
We ended with Sopapillas. The honey was so good, rich and brown!!
The service was good. I have no complaints.

Really delicious, the quesabirria and the carne asada were amazing. The rice and beans had a great flavor and were well cooked. I had the cherry limeade and it was tasty with a lot of Tito’s. It seemed really authentic, they had pozole on special but I didn’t get it. I would definitely eat here again!

Reasonably priced (for Eureka Springs). I got a Margarita, taco meal and flan and my wife had flautas, $63 before tip. They were some of the tastiest food we’ve had here (The Grotto doesn’t count). Friendly staff, a little inattentive, but we were sitting outside.

We had a nice time at Amigo’s and thought the Chips and Salsa were excellent. The chips were thin and crispy but held up to holding salsa well.
My wife and I split the Mocajete and I ordered an single carne sope. She loved the chicken and said that it was very tender. I liked the steak pieces and thought the shrimp was very good.
We really loved that when we asked for some additional corn tortilla’s they alternated the corn and flour tortilla’s so that my wife and I could easily eat without moving to much of the food that we were eating.
The service was decent, though the server we had seemed a bit distracted at times.
I had a Cherry Limeade alcoholic drink that actually tasted pretty good.

The entire town lost power after a bad storm and THIS PLACE was the only restaurant that could still make food! We were VERY happy to have found them. Just like everyone else in Eureka Springs who were trying their best to help, these guys rocked it.

Ate dinner here tonight and we were pleasantly surprised with how delicious the tacos were. Hubby ordered the Al pastor taco as a side to his beef enchiladas dish and I ordered the carne asada tacos. Both were very delicious and crispy. Beans were a solid 8/10, salsa was tasty. Margarita was just ok but overall we would definitely eat here again.

The tacos on the Delux Dinner were 1/2 empty, but still very good when I added some beans and rice (included with the meal) to fill them up. And each table is served a bowl of chips and mild salsa that had a little kick finally at the bottom of the bowl, very good.
They also had safe gluten free tortilla chips AND crispy tacos. Service was great, price was good, I’ll be back next time I’m in town but I’m hoping the Tacos are properly filled next time.

We came here for dinner on a Friday night and had great service and food.
If you want to beat the dinner rush, go between 5 and 6. There was no wait for outdoor seating with our dog. It was a bit hot that day but it’s all shade and they had a fan so it wasn’t uncomfortable.
Server was super friendly, service was fast and the food was good. Spicy margarita is huge and tasty. Husband had a burrito which was large and I had chicken tacos. Seriously good food and would make it my regular Mexican spot if I lived there! Oh and can’t beat the prices!!

The tacos plate was real good. The beans that came with it were perfect and just the right spice. The enchiladas to me were dry. The cheese enchiladas set up to quick. The cheese dip and cheese sauce was too creamy/thick. The enchiladas to me seemed to be the same as another Mexican restaurant in the same area.
Look forward to trying more out from here in the future.
