They must have new ownership because their food wasn’t like this before. I got a quesadilla to go and it was not edible. The chicken is boiled? Idk. They used to grill it with seasoning but the chicken was naked this time and barely cooked. My inedible quesadilla and cheese dip cost $20! This is my last visit there.

Food was great and service was quick. Wasn’t too busy so I can’t speak for the service under busy conditions. Overall the food was above average for Mexican food but not the best I’ve had. Average prices. Nice clean location with a good colorful decorative representation of Mexico’s colors. Would recommend for sure.

I recently visited this restaurant located at 410 E Taylor St, Griffin, GA 30223, and unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. The younger employees really need more training in customer service skills. Staff members in general should work on being more welcoming and attentive. I had to wait a long time before I was even acknowledged, and my food also took much longer than expected to arrive.
A more customer-focused approach, along with proper training, would make a big difference. The food itself was fine, but the overall service left a lot to be desired.

Food was totally awesome it was hot and fresh. Rice was soft. Cheese dip was perfect My burrito Texano was amazing and the peach margarita was delicious. The service was very good they went above and beyond. Me and my daughter even got chocolate kisses and heart shaped balloons. I’ve never felt so special. You must come here.

Located on south side of Griffin Georgia about 1/4 mile down the road, parking available in front though stairs, but additional parking and handicap accessible with ramp available in rear, access around building from balcony level or thru hallway in building. Clean restrooms. Excellent food, large and I mean huge portions, served hot and very tasty. Waitress was very attentive, service was very fast, all 11 of had our meals within 20 minutes, can accommodate large crowds, or small parties, bar available, huge menu selection to please every taste. Best Mexican restaurant in downtown and I have eaten at a few and done take out. Definitely recommend their food and service

Arrived at 630pm and was sat at a dirty table. After waiting 45 mins to even get something to drink we finally were greated. 2 booths and half the bar that sat after our table, had some drank, had food and left. Another hour later food arrived for beans to be cold, guacamole was turning brown and tortillas was hard as a rock. Fajita were not even steaming….. we all were very very disappointed. I completely understand being busy but in this case it wasn’t. No excuse at all, when questioned other waiters were extremely rude. I don’t think we will ever be back. Very poor service. Never offered anything for the inconvenience either

My family has enjoyed El Charro for years and so does alot of others. Getting tired of the wait we decided to try Amigos. The service is kinda slow but the food is delicious. The portions are much bigger than EC too. Amigos is a favorite of many friends.
