Everything at this place was so good!! Even on a busy friday night with every table full, the food was delicious and came within 20 minutes of ordering. The service was great and the decorations were awesome. I got the Birria tacos, which were super flavorful and the meat was tender. Others at my table had catfish tacos, the chimichanga, and some frozen margaritas, all of which were perfect. Large portions and we all had leftovers to take home! 10/10 will definitely be back.

My mother, daughter, son and I visited Amigos yesterday to celebrate my son’s 18th birthday. The food is delicious and satisfying, the service was excellent, the wait time we were given was 45mins. However, it was only 25mins, as the hostesses and team kept it moving and made sure ppl were getting seated quickly. Kudos to the entire team at Amigos. It was a wonderful experience. Definitely going back.

I came here from L.A. AND I’ve been to Mexico multiple times. So I’m pretty well versed in Mexican food. The food here at Amigos was good and authentic Mexican. Servers were really nice and friendly. The vibe was good. You get chips and salsa when you sit down and it was tasty. The drinks were presented very well, my drink was a little sweet to my liking but the bartender fixed it quickly with no hesitation. Great service. Price is fair for what you get. Definitely will be back. 9.5/10. It’s bright in the restaurant, probably good for taking pictures lol

Roberto was an excellent server! I enjoyed my meal, Roberto’s special, which was so good. The salmon was cooked perfectly as well as the scallops and shrimp. Roberto was quick with our drinks (margaritas so delicious) and our food came out fairly quickly. Desserts were also so good! We come often and enjoy it every single time. Thank you!!!

Amigos in Laurel is an overall cool spot. We were very impressed with the Shrimp Fajitas and chicken tacos. Both were absolutely yummy and came in great portions for the price.
For the restaurant to be so busy the service was top-notch; speedy, the staff is genuinely friendly, and helpful. I especially appreciated that they have their own signature hot sauce—it added a unique and delicious kick to the meal. We thoroughly enjoyed the entire experience and will definitely be back.

First time having dined at this restaurant. For current and future viewers of this review, we visited during the [Christmas] holiday season; the decorations were absolutely amazing, elegant and semi-upscale, and made for a warm and friendly welcome. Plenty of parking, building is not a standard square/box; the outside was as pleasant as inside, ample seating, wait time was little to none (maybe two minutes and we were walk-ins with no reservations for a group of five). Staff were friendly and attentive. There were lots of birthday celebrations and the staff came out with a birthday dessert treat, playing drums and singing, very akin to the culture. Now to talk about the real reason for the review…the food! I snacked on chips and salsa waiting on my nachos and veggie flautas (I ordered more so I could take it home; definitely didn’t eat all of this in one sitting!). The chips and salsa were sooo good! Incredibly good, fresh, baked chips and the salsa was freshly made, and not something from a can. There was a slight mix-up with the nachos, but it got corrected immediately after speaking with our server, so I don’t view it as a negative, and only mentioning here since it was part of my overall experience. The taste was mouth-wateringly delicious. The Mexican cheese and the black beans enhanced the flavor, unlike any other place I’ve had nachos. Ingredients were fresh! I had a taste of the flautas after the nachos and while it tasted fine, they did not use Mexican cheese and it definitely effected the taste for me (I would not order them again). Nothing wrong with it, but I should’ve stuck with only the nachos. Everyone in my company enjoyed their meal: the BBQ wings, tilapia, chimichanga, chicken tacos, and beef tacos; all full of flavors dancing on your tongue. Drinks were also decent sizes. No one had any complaints about the taste, quality, or portion size of their meal. I will say, we were initially a little shocked by the prices, as they are a bit higher for comparable restaurants in the tristate area. But in all honesty, I would go back tomorrow for those nachos; yes, I know it’d be two days after I went, but they are that good!!! All in all, I would definitely recommend Amigos. Happy eating!

The best in the area! I am never disappointed when I eat here. Everything tastes good—real & fresh food! OMG, the guacamole! Everything is prepared like somebody in the kitchen cares—served hot off the grill/out of the oven, presentation is always a WOW, worth every penny! Service is always on point; this time it happened to be Diego! He is exceptional! I feel guilty now; I should’ve given him a bigger tip! Please don’t become a franchise and lose this local charm! I’m always happy when I leave this place!

The food was fresh & tasted amazing! I ordered an Amigo Cantarito, one of their craft cocktails, that went down smooth! The portions are huge so be mindful if you tend to eat too much. Our waitress, Nicol, was quite knowledgeable of the entire menu & provided excellent suggestions.

It was my husband and my first time here and we will definitely come back! The atmosphere, the service, the food, the drinks all AMAZING! Our waitress was Mayreni and she was simply AWESOME! Very informative and gave great recommendations for both food and drinks! The menu is HUGE so you definitely have to come back multiple times to try everything!
