The experience here was wonderful. Excellent service. Fresh food, great flavor. Large portions, free parking. Great prices. We will definitely be coming back.

The ground beef was bland and dry. The chicken was pretty bland also but moist. The chille relano wasnt battered and fried like most Mexican restaurant would do.

Amigos Mexican Cantina is a great choice for Mexican food in Tennessee, offering tamales, chimichangas, and tacos in a quiet and welcoming setting. Really fresh ingredients and authentic flavors, the restaurant provides excellent service with friendly and attentive staff. The relaxed atmosphere makes it a great spot to enjoy a delicious meal without the usual hustle and bustle.

Came from Michigan to the incline railway and ate here after. Quick to get sat due to one other table in the restaurant, and ordered margaritas. As soon as they brought it to us, we noticed a bug floating in it, and pulled it out to notice it was a ROACH. As a family full of servers and bartenders, we dodn’t want to make a scene so we just put the drink to the side. Service was rough and chaotic, food was average mexican food, prices were average, and they make you automatically tip 20%. Hope you don’t get a roach in your drinks here

Cute clean place. Clean bathrooms. Parking lot, but it was hard to find a spot, we had to wait for someone to leave. Food was just ok. Carnitas flautas were so salty, it was had to eat them all. The chile relleno was not cheesey and also salty. Burrito was basic. I have definitely had better of all items I tried. But free chips and awesome salsa. Overall it was just ok.

They have a huge place and good food. We randomly went to eat over here and food was great. 6/7 ppl in our group enjoyed there food. I ordered a chille renello and asked them to switch beef with chorizo and it’s the best decision. Love there chorizo and fajitas. They even have some beer and cocktails on menu. They have a huge 32oz beer mug and it’s crazy. Try out there chorizo and spinach dip also. We ended the lunch with an amazing flan. Overall we had some delicious food.

My husband and I were visiting from out of town. When We walked in, the restaurant wasn’t welcoming. Once seated, our waitress stood about 5ft away to take our order and was very nonchalant. Needless to say, we cancelled our order and left.

Service was poor. Waitress could remember your order without writing it down, but we only saw her three times while we were there for 90 minutes. Not by our choice, we stayed that long because we couldn’t get our bill. Food is average, atmosphere is average, cleanliness is below average.

If you like “white people” Mexican food you’re in the right spot. All the food was not authentic or under seasoned. Except the “salsa” which was actually tomato paste and red pepper flakes combined to make some sort of red hot dip unlike salsa. Chips were not like your average cut and fried tortilla chips but more like some kinda bagged chip. The Jalapeno Bacon White Queso was like trying to eat liquid. Thinnest queso ever! Ran off the chip.

We had planned on another place to eat, but then we saw burgers. Yet Mexican won out. Not much for atmosphere, but our server was very nice and the food was great. I had a Tradicional Quesadilla and wow. It’s a lot, but sooo good. Of course I couldn’t eat it all. The sauce was quite tasty with a bit of a bite without being hot. The Deluxe Burritos and Soft Tacos were all scarfed down. Great happy hour deals!
