This is definitely a local Diner where the locals come to eat regularly. The atmosphere is very simple. But the food portions were large and excellent. I had a hard time choosing my burrito because I kept watching the other meals being served to the other people the hamburgers were large and lots of fries as well as the fajitas look like it was made for two people is supposed to one

the food is very nice! I had takeout, I recommend visiting, I believe they have good prices for the food they deliver. There were no napkins but I didn’t mind:) i ordered the Monster Burger without green chile, I like how they separated the toppings so u could put whatever u want on the burger. How u like it. Such as the lettuce, pickles, onions, and tomatoes. The burger is big, my First time going.

As truck drivers we appreciate good food and lemme tell you.. we ordered the steak tacos (carne asada tacos) with beans and rice.. and omg they were delicious and they really give you a very good amount of steak in the tacos!! Well worth it!!!

Food is good but takes way too long for my order to be taken. Almost an hour today and an hour and a half yesterday. People show up after me and get their order long before I do. Not cool at all. Also most of the tables never get wiped down ever.

We stopped in for a quick lunch, choosing this place mostly because our first two choices in town were closed. But I was glad we ended up here, because our food was great! The patty melt was hot and juicy without being sloppy or mushy, and the fries were crispy on the outside and soft inside. My “monster burger” was huge, but really tasty with green chiles (a must in NM!), grilled onions, bacon, and more. I’d eat here again. The only downsides were the bathrooms were a little rough (but clean) and the interior was a little worn-out looking. The service was friendly, although slow (but I totally understand because they were down a server and only had two folks doing their best to get food out.)

We stopped here since we could sit outside with our dog. There are two options for sitting outside, and it all has plenty of bird droppings on it. The picnic table had spider webs, so we chose the small round table. I found an upside down chair and sat in that since it was cleaner, having been covered from the birds. My child didn’t like her food, my husband said his was fine, and I really liked the chile rellano from the variety plate I got. It was crispy and good. We all thought the water tasted bad. The gas station across the street blasts ads, that was a little annoying. I’m guessing if you sit inside, it’s a better experience. Our waitress was nice and chatted a bit when I went in to pay.

Driving back to ABQ from Ruidoso and stop for a ham and green chile breakfast burrito and it hit the spot! The tortillas seemed homemade and was charred a little which I love. The filling was even better, lots of flavor and loaded with green chile and cheese. Very good would stop again if traveling through the area!

Well for starters it took several minutes before someone came to help us. Then we were informed that there was no hamburger buns or fish. I had to ask for silverware after receiving our food. And then they tried to charge us foe a mistake they made! I imagine the positive reviews came from the local friends. But I will give credit where credit is due…the food was good. It was not busy while we stopped by, but the food is worth it. Its a small town that you will drive thru without hesitation, but if you are hungry this place is worth the stop. The staff was very nice also.
