Food Excellent Portions Awesome a ton of food great pricing. Staff was great freindly and peronalable with all needs. Atmosphere was clean and colorful. Very busy. Food was excellent tasting fresh and extremely filling we got Flautus and the Carnitas Plates just wow.

My husband and I went here for the first time and it was a nice atmosphere. Our server was very nice and attentive, not overly just the right amount. We ordered fajitas for two. They were very good. The salsa was not as good, it tasted to much like tomato sauce. The margaritas were very sweet and couldn’t taste tequila. Not sure if there was any. Overall it was a great meal we may try it again.

Great atmosphere super cute on the inside! You get warm bean dip and salsa with chips when you sit down. I tried the enchilada trio and it was super yummy, our friends got the chimichanga and it looked great too. They have a good selection for kids meals too. Definitely check this place out. Margaritas are great too!!

We found the place to be a bit dark considering it was daytime. The service was a tad slow considering the number of tables.
The food is pretty good and more like what we know from Texas. We ordered guacamole 3.5/5 (could have been spicier), chicken fajitas 4/5, and birria tacos 4/5 (needed larger cup for consommé).

My girl woke me up and said she wanted to try it. I was hungover so I was happy to see a menudo and pozole bar with all the fixings. We definitely will be back. And hopefully next time I’ll try out the omelette station. Service is always good and the food. My personal favorite is the chili Colorado (fire)

Disappointing experience. The Chips and Salsa/Bean Dip was good, as were the margaritas. QuesaBirria Tacos were not good, the top was crispy, the bottom completely soggy, the meat was bland and seemed overcooked as it was just mush. The consome reinforced the problem with the meat, it too was bland and full of meat, by the time I got to third taco there was no consome left, just the meat mush. Rice was dry, beans were good. Don’t recommend.

This has been the best sit down Mexican restaurant we have found in Surprise. Really well seasoned rice and beans. The chips were fresh. I wish the salsa had a little more spice but it was good. The chicken enchilada mole was very well balanced. The green chile burro enchilada style had great flavor too.

Everything was excellent! Food was hot and fresh! Vegetarian and kid friendly. Kept up with our drinks and chips and salsa. After visiting the zoo all day we were thirsty and hungry. The service was excellent and made sure our needs were met. We did not wait for a table at 5pm on a Monday and waited maybe 10 minutes for food. The portions were perfect and filled us right up. The food was fresh and authentic. The atmosphere was fun and inviting.

We took the kids here to try their sopapillas and fried ice cream. We have been searching far and wide for a place that makes the perfect sopapilla and we finally found them here! These sopapillas are pillowy soft and covered in the perfect amount of cinnamon and sugar, served with whipped cream and honey. These sopapillas are not the fried bread kind but soft and light and tender. We ordered the fried ice cream as well and enjoyed eating the fried ice cream inside our sopapillas. It was absolute HEAVEN! We will definitely be coming back just to get these sopapillas.
We also tried their sampler with mini chicken chimis, beef taquitos, cheese quesadilla, and nachos. It was really good and fed two adults. We had their tortilla soup…OH MY GOODNESS!! It is to die for…full of yellow squash, zucchini, potato, carrot, onions, cilantro, cheese, tortillas bits, and so many chunks of tender chicken. This will be my go-to dish from this restaurant every time. It is so good! We can’t wait to try their other dishes.

It’s not too loud or bright in the restaurant either. It’s a nice place to have a good meal with friends or family. There’s a full bar here also.
