If you’re looking for a great Mexican restaurant in Stanwood, then Amigos is the stop. It’s also in the same building as the movie theater, so it’s super convenient. Plenty of seating and also a great bar area with lots of TVs for watching sports. A good beer selection and also a great selection of liquor too. Staff is really friendly and accommodating. Overall a great dining experience!

I think this is the best Mexican restaurant I have been to in a long time! The chips and salsa were perfect! So good! The margaritas were amazing, and the food was delicious! What topped it off is we had THE BEST waiter, Ryan. He was so funny, so nice, and always made sure we had everything we needed. We will definitely be going back!

1st Bartender was awful. I’m sorry you are short staffed, but being hateful is not how you get people to come back. 2nd Bartender was much better and much nicer. She at least didn’t seem to blame us for the short staff.

Beware!! I ordered a simple tostada, nothing else. I didn’t read the menu given they usually cost around $7. It had a very thin layer of beans TON of lettuce, a few flakes of cheese, a dollop of sour cream & guacamole. I PAID $19.00 FOR ONE VERY SMALL TOSTADA! I verified the ticket was correct due to my shock & it was!!! Complete rip-off!!! I don’t know how the man kept a straight face. Don’t go unless you win the lottery. It’s too expensive and NOT worth it..

I recently dined at Amigo Family Mexican Restaurant in Stanwood, WA, and while the experience was decent overall, it left me feeling somewhat underwhelmed. In terms of the food, it was average but not outstanding. While the portions were somewhat generous, the flavor of the dishes was somewhat lacking. I ordered the taco salad, and it barely came with any ground beef. While my wife ordered beans and burritos, it was a distinct portion difference. One positive note was the service was great and always asked if we needed anything.

Amigo’s nachos are a 9 out of 10. Maybe it was the fresh air or date night, first time in a year and a half because of a pandemic . . . whatever it was, we could not get over this masterful creation of the Nachos Supreme. Instead of ruining it with my own words, let’s just refer to the menu description. Nachos Supremely Our homemade tortilla chips, topped with beans, melted cheddar cheese, and your choice of beef or chicken. Garnished with guacamole, tomato, green onions, black olives and sour cream. Jalapeños are optional. The best Nachos in Stanwood!!!!
