Great food and atmosphere. I got the chicken salad and added avocado to it (2.50 upcharge). The chicken was fresh, but I will say I wish the salad was tossed since the toppings were just sitting on top of the leafy greens. My grandmother got the Caesar with salmon and she had no complaints. Our waiter was hilarious too. Will come back.

I’m so sad. Amici’s used to be amazing. I honestly have no idea how it’s still in business. There were flies circulating around our stale bread. The chicken Milanese I had was over cooked and not edible. You couldn’t even cut it and the breading came right off, there was no egg wash! No seasoning, not even garlic! The bread was stale and tasted funny, they definitely didn’t know how to make the drink I ordered. My friends got food that was inedible as well. The sauce tasted spoiled. I genuinely hate leaving bad reviews, but on top we were ignored! We watched the waiter check on and help everyone else and keep passing us by. It was not crowded. It’s been about 4 years since I’ve been, what a bummer!

We had a delightful experience here on a Thursday evening. Peter is just a hoot and takes great care of his customers. Makes a tasty martini. Met Sam, the chef, because he brought out our food. Ordered both of the dinner specials and were so happy with both. Will be back to hang out with Peter and try more food!

The food is great, service has been excellent on each visit, very good portion sizes as well. We got the Penne ala vodka, salmon, French onion soup and chicken vegetable soup. Everything came out great. Atmosphere is pretty cool and modern.

I went with my friends last week after not having been to amici for many years and I was truly devastated to see how horrible it has gotten. I am not sure how it is getting good reviews still, possibly regulars as it seemed like that who was all in there, either that or people who just have no taste. We were ignored almost the whole time by our waiter, who waited on everyone else and it was not busy. My friends and I got grossed out after the brought the bread over and the flies started increasing. It tasted stale and like chemicals? My Bolognese tasted spoiled, my drink was def not made correctly, we felt bad so we paid for our drinks and meals except for the one they comped us because my friend could not eat it at all. He said “the kitchen is usually pretty understanding” when she said she felt bad about asking for a comp. Which indicates to me this happens a lot. I want to hope this was a bad night, but judging by the amount of flies around the bread and the comment about the kitchen comping meals and understanding, I am going to say it probably was not a bad night. I am not one to complain, but someone is going to get sick!!

Definitely 5 star dining and one of Middletown finest establishment. Service is amazing and people are super friendly. Now the food, on another level. My steak was cook perfect with so much season and flavor. Drinks were amazing. Couldn’t be happier knowing this amazing place is right in our hometown
