The burgers are the clear focus. The smash technique is done properly, with crisp, laced edges on the beef that provide texture and depth of flavor, balanced by soft, classic buns and fresh, thoughtfully chosen ingredients. The result is a burger that feels familiar in the best way—precisely what one expects when craving a true smash burger, and satisfying from first bite to last.
The format is casual and efficient. Orders are placed at the counter, followed by self-seating, which works well for both quick visits and relaxed stops. The space offers ample bar seating, making it an easy option for those looking for a fast, no-fuss meal without sacrificing quality. The overall atmosphere is approachable and comfortable, with a natural, unpretentious energy.
Pricing is a standout. At approximately eight dollars for a burger with double meat and all the standard fixings, Americana offers exceptional value, particularly given the quality and portion size. This price point makes it easy to return often rather than reserving the experience for special occasions.
In addition to food, the beverage selection is practical and well-considered. Beer is available for those who want it, along with non-alcoholic options, ensuring the menu remains accessible to a wide range of guests.
Americana is not trying to reinvent the burger. Instead, it delivers a reliable, well-crafted product at an honest price, supported by an efficient setup and a relaxed vibe. For smash burgers and fries in Bend, it is a dependable choice that consistently meets expectations.
Popper, Bacon Blu and the Sloopy Goat, all great but the Sloppy Goat won the day.
Super exciting to see them expand from the truck at Podski and can’t wait to see how the menu expands in the new larger location.
This is the only place to go for burgers and I will die on this hill
The new spot downtown is perfection. The vibe is right, the music was fun, and of course the burgers hit the spot. They also have a root beer on tap that’s so good!
So happy to have a reasonable priced food option in an otherwise expensive town – thank you guys for staying true to your brand and your fans.
We’ve been a fan of Americana since their Jesus truck was posted up at Spider City, and it’s been so fun to see them grow.
Now they just need a good local beer on tap
We love Americana!
