American Diner ANDRA was such a fun spot to visit if you’re craving classic American diner food while in Tokyo.

The burger was so good and honestly huge — it was big enough for two people to share. The patty was juicy, the toppings were fresh, and everything came together perfectly.

I highly recommend getting the coffee jelly shake. It was absolutely amazing and something you don’t see often. The combination of the creamy shake with the coffee jelly made it such a unique and delicious treat.

Overall, a great diner with big portions and really tasty food. Definitely worth stopping by if you’re in the area.

Solid, solid, solid burger! We got the Touchdown Burger on the skillet. Yes, it was a little messy to eat, but it was so good. For the comments saying the cheese sauce has no taste, you just don’t have taste buds, because it was delicious and paired perfectly with the burger. I rarely give 5 stars (I usually give 4 since not much impresses me).

We also tried the Oklahoma burger, which was just okay. I’d give it a 3.5/5. The fries were fresh and hot. The older gentleman taking our order was very nice.

We came late around 7:30 p.m. and waited a little over an hour. Don’t forget to add your name to the waitlist, because the lineup means nothing if your name isn’t on the list near the front door. It’s a small space, but we got a small table in the back, which was more comfortable than the bar area, in my opinion.

Next time I’m in Japan, I’d definitely stop by again!

Like a lot of guests (I imagine) I saw this place and its burgers on Instagram. The ‘ touchdown’ burger did not disappoint. We did arrive before opening to a decent line. We just missed the first sitting, but were in, in around 25 minutes and seated. Was lucky to get a bar seating so we could watch the burger get its dunking in the skillet of cheese sauce. Fries and Coke were an add on and as always a great accompaniment.

We are holidaying from Australia, so at just over $20 (AUD) for the burger it was fairly cheap.

It’s worth a try if you like burgers, oh and don’t forget to write your name in the guest list when lining up as they follow that when letting guests in.

You wanna a great smash burger in Tokyo, come here..!! Fantastic American style place, football and basketball jerseys on every wall. Bar seating and two tables available.. small place and friendly tho. What else do you need!? I enjoyed a triple cheeseburger with fries and coke, nothing more. Simple and tasty. Side note, I wouldn’t mind bbq sauce and mayo easy to grab like they do with ketchup and mustard.

One of the most unique burger experiences in Tokyo. Their specialty is the burger with melted cheese prepared directly on a hot plate, creating an incredible texture and flavor you won’t find anywhere else in the city. The cheese is perfectly melted, rich, and takes the burger to the next level. A must-try spot if you’re looking for something truly different and unforgettable.

One of the best burgers in Tokyo! I tried their famous “touchdown menu” with triple patty. I think even the double version is quite enough to get full. Staff were super friendly and can understand English.

Food was pretty good the main problem was the wait. The size of the restaurant is small so it over an hour for our group. We had the onion smash burger, the touchdown burger, the Philly cheesesteak, and the routine. Everything tasted really good.

Usually we don’t wait online for food. But when visiting Tokyo this was an exception we made because we really wanted to try the food. Totally worth the wait. Ryu and the whole crew have mastered these speciality burger. They were kind efficient well oiled machine. The food was fresh and very good. Better than plenty burgers I’ve had at home in the USA. Love the vibe of the diner. Would come back everytime we visit. So if your wondering if its worth the wait it absolutely is. Thanks Ryu for bomb burgers. Much continued success.

Not exactly something people would recommend when in Japan however it’s a must try, even for those who are not a big fan of cheese. The cheese sauce is not heavy and goes perfectly with the cheese smash burger, they have different burger options as well as steak options.

Really friendly and warm people too
