I’ve yet to have a bad experience here or at any other American Deli. I know they have lots of options to choose from, but I’ve yet to stray away from their fried catfish, wings, fries, and peach “drank.” Lol. One day I’ll be adventurous and try something else.

You can’t sit inside this restaurant you have to sit outside when I first walked into the building I smelled burnt Grease so I was not going to order my wife hadn’t eaten so we gave them a try the food was surprisingly good check out the pictures now if they get rid of the burnt grease smell they will get a five star

This is a great non pretentious place to get a great sandwich at a very reasonable price

First time at this location and haven’t been to an American deli in several years. I ordered a 10 piece wing combo, half honey garlic pepper half Thai chili. After seeing a sign on the wall displaying Cajun ranch cheese fries, I decided to upgrade my fries. When my order came out, I was a little surprised to see that instead of the fries I saw on the sign, it was regular crinkle fries with some ranch and cheese squirted on top with a little bit of when I’m assuming was Cajun seasoning. I was in a rush, so I just kind of bite the bullet and vowed that I would never order that again. The fries were nothing special. The honey garlic pepper wings were pretty tasty, but the Thai chili was very disappointing. These have to be the worst Thai chili wings I’ve ever tasted. Not sure what happened here but they got it wrong. I paid about $20 for a wing plate only to dispose of half of the wings because of the taste.

This was my third time eating at the restaurant within a 30 day period. It was the second time that I had to address the size of the wings. This time they were smaller than my pinky finger. I informed the manager as I did the first time. On both occasions she attempted to defend their actions, this time she suggested offered to give me two additional wings.Well, she did and they were laced in mucus. She was wearing a mask, in retrospect she probably had a cold as opposed to protecting herself from Covid. As she typically does not wear one. Although I saw some red streaks that looked like blood mixed in the sauce, I disregarded it. Sure enough, I was filled with mucus later. My point is that it was a six peice combo, don’t slight the customer. They have continued to increase the price of this meal. It is roughly twelve dollars after taxes. Why short the customer when you are asking for a lot of money. It amazes me how businesses get upset when you hold them accountable, but they want every penny of what they are asking for. This place is stingy with the food and the slim and tall manager is nasty. She put mucus on my food and mixed it with the sauce. How disgusting is that? Why would she be mad that I simply wanted what I paid for which was quality wings. Don’t eat here and don’t expect to get treated with respect. The tall slim manger is evil. They also stand and watch you while you eat in the restaurant.

Food was pretty good. Staff was very friendly and attentive. Noticed a cut on my hand and offered me antibiotic ointment and a bandaid. Tugged at my heart strings 🙂 thanks ladies you rock!

This restaurant is excellent and we get food from here quite often. Love the wings, chicken cheese steaks, gyros and cheeseburgers always ask for crispy fries and they are cooked exactly as we like them. Their tea is always freshly made and taste so good. People that live in downtown Decatur frequent there often and they tell me they really enjoy food. I noticed some people mentioned price has gone up, but every place has gone up as well as grocery stores. I have noticed it in all restaurants and I don’t see a problem , since I’m not having to cook. Just enjoying their food. Everyone is so exceptionally nice too.
