The lady behind the counter was nice, but she wasnt a waitress. This is a little more like fast food place. I was thinking it was more of a sit down resteraunt. Got the Rueben sandwich and fries. The food was good. The fries were super salty but thats the way I like them. Lot of room inside the building.

I’m not sure how some of these American Deli’s stay in business. if you want to see some unkept looking clientele, walk into an American deli. The food is mid, and for the price, relatively worth it for an easy lunch option. When it comes to good service, this is as good as the regular fast food service you’ll see at any place. I don’t hate this place but it’s the epitome of mediocre.

My boyfriend got me a beef philly cheesesteak combo for takeout. I waited about 20-30 minutes after he got home to eat it and OH MY GOD this is the BEST philly I’ve ever had!! even after it sat! I’ve never been to American Deli and a philly cheesesteak is usually my go-to order anywhere new that has it. This sandwich was soooooo good. All toppings cooked perfectly, seasoned, generously portioned and warm soft bread…. just absolutely perfect Highly recommend!!!

The location we visited in Statesville, NC was awful!! The cheese steak was over cooked, they charge extra for lettuce, tomato as ND pickle. I never knew it came without! They charge for credit card usage and the pricing was high.

Nice location located in the plaza serving American style food everything from wings to Rubens. The location was clean and well staffed with individuals that cared about making sure your order was correct. I was impressed with the speed and the level of customer service I received and will definitely visit this location again in the future.
