We arrived before 5 on a Friday, and it was already filling up. Great early 20th century vibe with the perfect music to complement.
Friendly staff, working hard.
My double of Dewar’s 12yr was generous. My wife’s Hot Buttered Rum was apparently delicious. She generally doesn’t like alcohol but LOVED this enough to order a second!
The Fig & Fowl salad was pleasant to the eye and the perfect blend of tastes and textures.
I’ve forgotten the name of the sweet bourbon bacon dog that my wife had, but she absolutely loved that too.
Best of all, it was just a very, very nice date. She loves that time period and enjoys both classic and classy things. This was a superlative experience of both. She thoroughly enjoyed myself, which meant that in addition to enjoying it for myself, I had the extra pleasure of seeing her do too.

Been here several times & have loved it! Bartender is great & has always been super friendly.
Came for NYE & waitress was rude. Served and then took our drinks back because they weren’t the right color, then later returned drinks. From there, we asked for them to be remade because we were not sure where they were taken back to previously. Disappointing visit for sure.
Recommend just sitting at the bar & ordering with the primary bartender/owner.

I’d been eyeing this spot forever, but it was always packed. I accepted an invitation to join a private “Psalm Sing”—Christian guys filling the dim, amber-lit room with rich, resonant Bible Psalms and hymns after clinking cocktails. The owner hosted warmly, golden light pooling over wooden tables amid laughter and camaraderie. Their Old Fashioned gleamed in a heavy crystal glass: aromatic orange zest curling above smooth bourbon bite. Returning soon!

Charming place but there were issues that needed to be addressed. Trash overflowing in the bathroom, unacceptable at 4:30pm. The chicken dip was not thoroughly heated, and it was served with many broken chips hidden by a few unbroken ones on top. The old fashioned came with tiny ice cubes instead of the traditional single, large one. Cocktails were pricey, especially when so many good places are in Franklin and Nashville.

If you are looking to relax or have great conversation but still feel cozy with friends. This place is uhmazing!!!! Wine and cocktails are great!! I had Kate Arnold Pinot Noir red wine and It was smooth!
Nathan the owner was very nice and we had a great conversation! Kimberly was our host and she was very kind and attentive as well!

My husband and I stopped in on a whim for lunch and this place far exceeded our expectations! Neither of us drink alcohol but we had food and mocktails that were SO good. I got the grilled cheese with tomato soup, the soup was the best I’ve ever had. My husband got a steak sandwich and spoke very highly of the quality of the meat, he said there wasn’t a single piece of fat but it was still very juicy. We will definitely be going back
