We visited the pop-up “Miracle on Cornwall”, which is connected to the Hotel Leo and Amendment 21. The whole place is decked out in holiday lights and decor – very festive and fun!
We ordered the Duck the Fries Poutine, Christmas Beef Soup Dumplings, and North Pole Smash Burger. All the food was pretty disappointing.
For drinks, we ordered a Snowball Old Fashioned (amazing!), Christmapolitan (amazing!), Jingle Balls Nog (good!), and a Cheery Cherry Chocosaurus (just ok).
Despite not being impressed with the food, we think the fun drinks and festive atmosphere make the visit well worth it! The staff and service were also fantastic! We recommend a visit before they close after Dec 31st!

My husband and mother-in-law and I went here for their jazz brunch. The music was great and the atmosphere was very fun. It was t very busy which was nice. The staff were all really friendly and great. The staff was really nice about accommodating for my dietary restriction too.

Our bartender, Mossy, was easily one of the best mixologists I’ve had in a long time. They didn’t just make drinks, they performed them. Every cocktail was executed with precision and artistry, like they knew every recipe by heart. The attention to detail was incredible, no shortcuts, everything classically made. At one point, Mossy lit a stick on fire to smoke the orange peel for an Old Fashioned, and it was one of those “wow, I’m in the right place” moments.
The drinks themselves were balanced, elevated, and absolutely worth the visit. If you appreciate true craft cocktails, this is where you want to be.
We also ordered the potato croquettes, and they were pure comfort with a twist.. Creamy and soft on the inside, almost cheese-like in texture, topped with spicy mayo, basil, and micro greens that pulled it all together beautifully. Easily one of the best bar bites I’ve had in recent memory.
Between the flawless cocktails, thoughtful food, and Mossy’s professionalism and artistry, this bar is a standout. I’d come back again and again. Honestly, the bar alone has me curious about the attached hotel. If it’s anything like the cocktail experience, it’s probably just as special.

What a cool bar! We came in for their Miracle on Cornwall holiday special event, which runs through all of December (even after Christmas!). They really went hard on the decor and they even had live music! The drinks are a little pricey, but you’re paying for the whole experience.

I was so excited for the Christmas Day Chinese buffet at the Hotel Leo’s Amendment 21 bar! I excitedly made reservations, got an early afternoon spot as most other times were already filled. My 20 year old snd I dressed up and headed out! As a local resident I had not been inside the hotel, but with its history, I was eager to check it out. The staff were all amazing, especially Cass, who greeted and sat us. The bar staff were attentive and helpful. The food, on the other hand, was hands down the worst food I have ever eaten, and I have eaten gas station hot bar food while on road trips. I once had a vending machine sandwich of unknown age that I would eat again over this buffet. The sweet and sour soup was terrible. The rice was either too soft or suspiciously crunchy. No two bites were the same, what an adventure! The bok choy was rubbery and honestly, took all my resolve to swallow it. I would say something about the spring rolls, but we never got to have any as they ran out. The only other thing I was able to try was the crunch salad that had the strange spicy dressing I couldn’t place, and I eat ghost peppers, so spicy is my thing! I would onky eat that “salad” again under threat, even then I would hesitate to weigh the options. For almost $120 I would rather eat at the gas station hot bar in the MT badlands again as at least I know what to expect. Merry Christmas, I guess.

Really delicious Eva’s Wild Salmon and at a reasonable price. I wasn’t thinking dinner when I first arrived for the First Friday event but the menu had some very nice options. Love the atmosphere and historic photos of Bellingham. Having live music from Bellingham Chamber Music Society was icing on the cake.

Cozy spot to slide into for prohibition era cocktails. Tasty food from restaurant is available too. Low key, relaxing atmosphere connected to Hotel Leo.
Happy hour is available too! Friendly bartender.

Showed up for music as advertised but there was none and people didn’t know why.
Entrees weren’t well prepared and overpriced for portion size.
Drinks and service were good though!

The he/she bartender from last night, 8/30/25, was so rude and disrespectful to me and my friends. They created an uncomfortable atmosphere. They shouldn’t be talking to guests like that or making other guests feel uncomfortable. If the bartender can’t handle a long day while controlling their attitude, they should pick up another gig where they’re allowed to bleed their feelings onto others.

Amendment 21 in Bellingham is like stepping into a love letter, penned in sophistication and sealed with rebellion, where every cocktail whispers sweet nothings to your soul, blending history and today in a perfect martini.
