The smash burger (w/o onions) and slaw chicken were both ample portions, prepared well, and tasted great on the toasted brioche buns. The large portion of fries tasted good but were limp and could have stood to be blanched first or fried longer.
There is no restroom, and for seating , there is only a small bar with stools along one wall. So basically, it’s a take out place. The only “service” is handing you your food, so having 15% set as the smallest tip suggestion was boldly annoying. On reflection, I regret tipping it. Others mention the high prices, but to me, they seemed fair based on the current prices of, well everything.
I’ll definitely return, but for pickup, and no tip. I wish them well, I’m glad to see more choices in our cozy town.

We got the smash wrapped in lettuce and cheese fries. The patties were decently flavored, a tad too salty. Would have been improved with pickles but that’s just us. We liked the fries and the cheese sauce was standard exactly what you expect. No Heinz ketchup! Like that you can order the protein in lettuce or on fries!

Amazing burgers and fries! It was awesome that I said I have an egg allergy and could t have aioli or mayo, and they guy offered to make it a lettuce wrap because they serve brioche buns. THANK YOU! No one ever recognizes that, and it was a wonderful smash even as a wrap! Fried were great ~ with ketchup or vinegar. Loved it all!

When you enter, it’s pretty awkward if you plan on staying there to eat- it is almost set up like it should be for takeout only. There is only bar seating along the two walls and no bathrooms (you have to walk over to the Dead Lightning bar if you want to use any).
The food was OK- the fries were undercooked- the inside had a raw potato consistency and the burgers were over seasoned. The place is a good thought, just now we’ll executed.

Cozy little place that keeps it simple. Been a few times, and it’s great flavor for the burgers, dogs and chicken without getting obnoxious about it. Food is hot and fresh, and worth going in, but they’re also on at least one delivery app. Fresh cut fries probably wouldn’t be as good by the time they got home, so I’ll always go there.

This is a great place! Love that it’s family owned and operated by a younger couple , branching out on their own, Always busy! The food is delicious! Must be because everything is made by hand , fresh, they hand cut the fries, homemade Cole slaw, ( wish I had the recipe) Small place , must be why they do pick up orders and have limited seating, but I did see signs for GrubHub and Door dash delivery. I guess cause parking is limited. I always walk up so that wasn’t a issue for me. Laura and Benny are great. So many different sandwiches to choose from . I seen that they now have 4 piece chicken n chips. My favorite. But I have to say the one thing missing from the menu is Homemade Italian pastries that I heard Benny’s Pop makes from scratch. That to me would just top off the great food they already offer!!

We attempt to make it here at least once a week, but we miss the window quite often lol.. but anyway, the Chicano is AMAZING. Well, everything is if we are being honest. Everything is so FRESH and you can watch them make it all in front of you from scratch basically.

Five guys prices, Burger King taste. Smash patties are supposed to be thin, way too thick to be served as doubles, onions were way too big, bacon was super soggy. Fries were the best part of the meal. $20 dollars for a burger and fries seems like a crime, but you can taste the difference at a place like Five Guys, and you know you’re paying for quality. This ain’t that.

overall a good first go, burgers were exceptional. only complaint is this modern wave of no wait staff places with tip screens. if the cashier is making 1 buck an hour, send her my way, I’ll give her a livable rate.
