Neighborhood family fish spot with consistently good food. The meals are always fresh and well prepared. The only downside is that the young ladies taking orders often have a very unfriendly attitude, which can take away from the overall experience. If the customer service matched the quality of the food, it would easily be an excellent place to visit regularly.

The know before you go information: After placing your order in the drive thru if there’s a vehicle before you that’s consider 15-20 minutes and when you finally get to the window it may be another 15-20 minutes or more so consider your lunch break wisely. The good news,,, best fish I’ve had in a while other that at home. It was worth the wait hot ,crispy outside flaky inside. The tartar sauce and hot sauce was great with it The hush puppies were perfect. The customer service could use some improvement.

I bought the 10 piece whiting fish dinner for my family to eat and a fish sandwich for myself. The dinner came with two large sides. I got fries and okra. My family all enjoyed the food and the sandwich was really good. I would definitely recommend Ameen’s for good seafood and I’d go there again.

I dont even see how they even at 4 stars. The older Lady, who said she’s been there over 27 years getting paid under the table, act like she was angry, attitude when I ask for viniger. The fish was hard as toenails, with no taste at all(Tilapia) worst i ever taste. The red beans an rice was sour. Not to mention the ck is salty as ever, that was a extra 7 dollars. I will regret for ever buying 6 pc fish dinner for 30 dollars, 1st an last time ever going there!

Cashier was super nice. Seemed clean. The person that did the trash smelled really awful. I know it’s hard to find workers for low wages. But if you’re going to be around people food. Please take a bath. The lemonade fruit punch mix was a banger. I would order 3 times over. I ordered some Buffalo wings and Fish. I didn’t like that the wings were cooked in flour and dipped in sauce. It was a soggy mess. Cooking them that way makes them fried Drummets with seasoning not Hot Wings. Maybe that should be told to customers. I live for condiments which can make or break a restaurant imo. That being said. The ranch was str8 up nasty. It tasted low grade/cheap. I’ve never tasted a more disgusting ranch before in my life. The fish had a good taste but seemed a bit old/refried/rubbery. I think if it was fresh fresh it would’ve been amazing. The fish tacos didn’t live up to the hype. It seem bland. It was missing something. Maybe the presentation didn’t make it work idk. Maybe the cook should put the fish on the tortilla then put on sauce and then lettuce instead of the other way around. Good potential at this place. But I unfortunately won’t be returning.

Yesterday evening, I visited Ameen’s Fish & Wings and ordered the 6-piece catfish snack, which came with three hush puppies. Let me just say, the seasoning on the catfish was outstanding! The fish was perfectly fried, with just the right amount of breading—enough to enhance the flavor without overpowering the delicate, delicious fish. I’ve tried fried catfish at countless restaurants, including some that are far more expensive, but none compare to the quality here. Even other Ameen’s locations don’t match the taste of this one, except for the M.L.K. Jr. Drive location, which comes very close.

The hush puppies were a complete game changer! Unlike the dense or sometimes dry hush puppies I’ve had elsewhere, these were perfectly crispy on the outside, with a fluffy, soft, and flavorful interior. They were seasoned to perfection and paired wonderfully with the fish.

I had hoped to order their fried whole wings as well, which are always fresh and never disappoint, but I arrived a little too late. Understandably, those wings take around 20 minutes to cook fresh.

This spot is hands-down my go-to for fried catfish, hush puppies, and fried whole wings. If you’re a fan of perfectly seasoned seafood and comfort food done right, this restaurant deserves a place on your must-try list!

Worst hushpuppies to plague this earth, sweet tea tasted like tea urn hadn’t been washed in weeks, fish and wings combo has made me sick. At least the fish had a decent fry but could not finish the plate.

The absolute best fish around Atlanta Georgia. I always get the grilled fish and grilled shrimp. A lot of fish restaurants don’t have grilled seafood, cooked to perfection.

Great prices. Very good wings, fish was a bit dry, good rice and sweet peach drink. It took a while to get the food out and wish seats weren’t fixed in the ground so that they could be reconfigured for larger groups more easily.
