What a hidden . I drive by it for a couple years already and finally someone told me how delicious food is being served here so I had to try.
From outside it looks just like regular bar, going inside same bar kind of atmosphere but as soon we walk in we become part of the family . Our server Elliot made my day. I was tired, because I just got out of work and didn’t have a chance to decompress, but Elliot with his bubblie comedian personality kept me laughing throughout the entire visit. You can tell that he makes everyone feel that way and has quite of few regulars. That speaks value. Our appetizer, meals and dessert require the same applaud. So delicious , nice big portions without being overpriced. It’s a true authentic family restaurant with great atmosphere and delicious home made food and desserts. You eat good fell good and leave happy. I will definitely come back and bring my other friends with me

We have just moved to the area and needed to get out of the house after doing chores and repairs all day. This great local spot was exactly what we needed – unpretentious Italian dining with solid food and good prices. We visited at 6:30pm on a Saturday night and there were lots of groups enjoying their holiday dinner. My husband and I were the youngest people in the dining room. We are 40 and 50. It was hilarious and honestly charming. The highlight was our server Elliot. He provided excellent and attentive service while keeping us in stitches all night with his jokes and observations. He honestly belongs on Broadway or at least in community theatre. He completely owned the dining room and obviously had authentic connections with all of his regular diners. He made our night. The whole experience was great and we’ll definitely be back.

I recently ordered a personal size meat pizza and on the second day I ordered a steak bomb. The pizza for sure was delicious It had the right amount of toppings the crust was perfect and the sauce just complimented everything else. The steak bomb grinder in my opinion was okay I wasn’t aware that it comes with a hefty side of tomato sauce on it, I did not like that but the steak itself was good. I will definitely continue to go there and highly recommend it.

I’ve lived in the area for about 2 months and I stopped in here today to try the pizza and I have to say this is the BEST PIZZA IN TOWN ! A 16″ sm plenty of toppings fair price . Thank you Amedeo’s for a great experience!

I came here because I had a gift certificate from my workplace not thinking much of it. But when I started to receive service, it was on point. Our server was amazing. He seemed like the only waiter on the floor however, was still able to manage to tend to all tables in a friendly and timely manner. He did a great job providing recommendations for our meal as well. Separate from our waiter the restaurant is well maintained and clean.
For the food, Honestly I was concerned at first because my pasta didn’t come with any sauce. But that didn’t matter. My dish was very tasty, cooked to perfection. The pizza was great as well. Highly recommend this place to anyone in the area.

Ordered their Amedeos Special. Fake meatballs,horrible sausage,the smallest amount of pasta I’ve ever seen and rotten lettuce in my salad.Seemed like a lunch portion but was charged for a dinner.No roll either.Do better.

Update: I’m very disappointed. I took my mom in to treat her to lunch. We sat at the bar. The bartender was watching the news which was understandably upsetting but not why I was at the restaurant. The bartender started talking in our direction about her feelings on the politics on the screen. I stayed quiet hoping she would change the subject. After she went on and on about things I didn’t agree with I told her I didn’t agree. She politely said we can agree to disagree. Then I went to the bathroom and as I did I heard her talking in the kitchen about how she can’t stand “these types of people”. My mother and I finished our drinks and took our food home. I told the other waitress that I wouldn’t be back as long as the bartender was employed there. I came in for a meal and not a political conversation or to be disrespected by the staff. It is inappropriate for waitstaff to try to engage in politcal talk with customers and then disrespect them by talking badly about them in earshot. It is too bad because I really like this place but the lack of professionalism leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

I highly recommend this long-standing Holyoke restaurant.
