Cute little hidden gem nicely decorated.
The Owner/manager greeted us immediately upon entering and was very friendly.
Update: Came back several times to introduce several friends to this spot!
Albert is always friendly and accommodating!
What we ordered this time around:
1.) Mushroom Ravioli $24.15 My friend liked the flavors in the sauce and ravioli not too heavy.
2.) Homemade Meat Lasagna $27.60 my other friend ate his whole serving. So I guess he it was great
3.) Special Seabass with pasta $37.00 my fish was cooked perfectly moist and lemon butter well balanced.
4.) Pistachio Cake $8.00
What we ordered:
1.) Brazino 12” pizza $23.50 Fired perfectly with prosciutto, salami and arugula. Nice balance and tasty.
2.) pistachio ricotta cake. $9.20 this is my new favorite and I don’t do dessert much. Light a balanced flavors.
3.) tiramisu $9.20 my friend enjoyed his slice and finished it in like 3 minutes
Definitely will be back!
My guy and I dressed up for date night here and it turned out to be the most romantic dinner we’ve had in a long time.
The atmosphere was welcoming and very cozy. The decor resonates as modern creativity blended with simplicity and taste, with hints of industrial and natural elements.
Our server, Albert, was amazing and provided a quality of service I haven’t experienced in a long while. His friendly attitude, knowledge of the specials, his demeanor and right amount of attention to detail made our evening that much more special.
Now let’s talk about the food! Wow! It takes a lot to impress me with Italian food and perhaps that’s because my experience is generally with the Americanized version. Every dish we tried (and we tried several) felt as wholesome as if it had been lovingly made by our Italian grandma (the one we didn’t know we had!) and presented with the artistry of a professional chef.
I paired my dinner with a glass of wine, which went well with everything beautifully: the Burrata Caprizze (salad), the bruschetta, an individual pizza, the tomato basil soup and the meat lasagna.
We ended on the perfect note with a homemade cannoli, which was delicately sweet without being overpowering.
This may be the closest to Italy I’ve ever been.
My compliments to the chef and staff.
The calzone was perfectly baked, the penne ala vodka pasta was creamy and full of flavor, and the tiramisu was light yet full of flavor.
If you’re looking for authentic Italian flavors, fresh ingredients, and exceptional service, this place is a must. Ask for Albert — he’s truly out of this world!
We’ve eaten Italian at places double the price and I would still come back here again!
We ordered the following:
Burrata Caprizze—freshest ingredients I’ve ever tasted in a Caprizze. Blends magically in your mouth.
16” make your own pizza——With meatball and bell pepper. (FYI—- 16” pizza is so large my husband couldn’t finish it himself)
Tortellini—-the creamy red sauce tasted so fresh and the cheese in the tortellini tasted just as fresh as the ‘straight-from-the-cow’ mozzarella in the Caprizze.
Pistachio Ricotta Cake—literally my husband (who only likes chocolate cake typically) said “wow.”
Also— Angela, our authentically Italian hostess, was so warm, genuine, and being served by her made me feel like I was invited to join an Italian family’s dinner party. This is the first time in my life I’ve actually wanted to tip more than 20%.
