I can’t recommend this restaurant. We ordered the Caesar salad, chicken tacos, and churros to go. Upon arrival at our hotel, we opened our order to find a huge disappointment.
1. The chicken tacos were not tacos at all. They were enchiladas.
2. My “Caesar” salad – which the server noted was a little different from a traditional Caesar because it had a different sauce (and that was fine with me) – was not a Caesar at all. It had tomatoes and a few tortilla chips (in place of croutons). It looks more like a taco salad, which they also had on the menu…
3. The churros were tiny and had chocolate on them. I’m allergic to chocolate. There was no chocolate listed on the menu and the server never mentioned chocolate being offered or included.
4. No cutlery was provided.
When I called the restaurant to note these issues, the response was “What do you want me to do?” I asked for a refund and the server said she would speak to a manager and call me back. Two days later, I’ve received no call back.
Poor customer service. Can’t even speak on the food quality because we literally threw the order in the trash without tasting it and got lunch at our hotel. Will not return.

Had a wonderful time eating at Amber’s Cantina… the service was excellent and the good was delicious, I had the chicken tortilla soup I wish I had taken a picture because it was just as good as it looked.. definitely recommend

This food is good if you’re from Laguna and know no better of good Mexican food. If I can make one recommendation then go to the IE and eat at Mitlas. The food was trash and all the staff was extremely judgmental the atmosphere made it extremely uncomfortable for me and my kids and won’t be back ever.

Had a BOGO 50% off entree from signing up to receive promotion from them. Delicious Mexican dishes from a local restaurant that is celebrating 25 years in business. Had the shrimp and crab enchiladas. Loved the flavors served with rice and pinto beans. Full bar serving great cocktails, beware of the Amberita margarita with patron and agave, grand marnier float extra. It has a kick and good for just one drink!

Amber and her staff are amazing! You can always count on fresh hot chips, delicious margaritas and cheerful service. It’s a go to for a classic cantina experience. They get packed sometimes as they have a huge local and loyal following but it’s worth the wait if you have to.
