“This Indian restaurant is a must-try! They offer a wide variety of authentic dishes that are absolutely delicious. The spacious and clean dining area adds to the overall experience, and the manager, Godfrey, is super friendly and helpful. I’m extremely satisfied and happy – highly recommended!”

A relatively new location for another Amber Indian restaurant. This one specializes in catering but also provides nice on-site dining. The food selection is really good with a lot of vegetarian choices. The service is very friendly. The chef even came out after our dinner to make sure everything was to our satisfaction. Warmly recommended!

Went here with a friend. Three of the four dishes ordered were good, one was a little underwhelming. Atmosphere of the place surprised me, fairly nice inside, outside looks like any other industrial joint in Milpitas.

A little pricey for what you get. Went for lunch, 3 people, 4 dishes a couple of drinks, a little over $100.

It was not at all a good experience visiting this new location for the first time. Its very different compared to the Santana Row branch.

The restaurant has been given a facelift since I visited this place last time. The decor is decent and can accommodate more than 50 customers at a time.

We ordered gobi manchurian and dhania murg as appetizers followed by bhindi masala and mutton Rogan Josh as part of main course. The dhania murg and garlic naan were the only good stuff out of all dishes we ordered. The chicken was juicy and well cooked. The gobi manchurian did not use the right kind of sauce, the gobis were not at all crispy. It was more like a gobi bell pepper sabzi cooked with tomato ketchup. The bhindi dish had a few “not so tender” pieces. It definitely did not do justice to a 20$ bhindi dish. The pudina paratha was too thick.

I do not plan to go to this place again.

I ordered takeout at this restaurant, as I have done so a number of times before. The order was this : one Kadhai Paneer meal, 4 garlic naans, one butter chicken, and one goat biryani.
When I went to pick up the order, there was no one at the reception (and no one in the restaurant anywhere). I shouted “hello, anyone there” 3-4 times and no one showed up. The order was sitting there, bagged, but anyone could have walked out with that, and no one would be wiser!
Anyway, another customer shows up, proceeds to loudly say “hello, anyone here?” And then decides to go to the kitchen to call the staff out!
Then out walks the proprietor and hands me my order.
When I get home, I find :
Naans are hard and chewy. Both curry dishes re okay, nothing great. The goat biryani has bits of charred, tough goat meat! The rest of the goat pieces in the biryani are tough as well. The biryani itself wasn’t as flavorful as last time.
Poor food quality, poor service, but prices are premium. Will not be coming back. Ever.

Went to pista house recently, we ordered a biryani and veg meal. Loved veg meal was wholesome, delicious and homely. Biryani no doubt was very good as this place is famous for it. Chef and staff were friendly, came over to ask if we were comfortable and food was good. There were only 4-5 people for dine in the time we went, lot of pickup orders. Would definitely visit again to try out new dishes.

Good and fresh food but pricey for Indian food. Their lamb stone kabab was so good, must try. Double Meetha sweet was too heavy and disgustingly sweet so try different dessert but not this. Biryani and Hakeem was tasty.

Food is ok according to my Indian friends. Not crowded so service was fast. Price seemed ok for lunch set. A little overpriced for a la cart. $70 for two with drinks

I didn’t like their biryani at all!!!
I ordered one boneless chicken biryani and veg dum biryani.
Chicken biryani- it was very dry and overly spicy.
Veg biryani- I don’t know what masala they made, but it didn’t taste good and it overly spicy as well.
But the quantity of food is pretty huge. I think 3 people can eat in one plate!

One of the best Haleem I ever had !! Accompanied with fried onions & lemon!

Loved Gongura chicken biryani as well ! It’s delicious and the chicken pieces are very well cooked and they are extremely soft ! Quantity of the biryani can easily serve 2 people. Biryani is 5 times the quantity in the picture.
