Sitting at home enjoying my third left over helping of the amazing crispy beef I bought a few days ago here. Never ate here before. Met one of my friends for lunch and we were both pleased. AGAIN crispy beef delicious, never take off the menu. I ordered mine without spice, menu pic showed a pepper next to it indicating it was spicy. The owner made it for me without. We also had the honey chicken with side of beef low mein. Everything was good. The service was great as well, very friendly and checked on us. I will be back for more.

We ordered here for the first time on 2/15 for dinner delivery, so I don’t know how it is inside.
However, the food arrived earlier than their ETA-great service in that regard. Finally, the servings were bigger then expected, and for my Chicken Lo Mein had several pieces of chicken in it (other places I’ve used often only have 2-3 tiny pieces ). I will definitely use this restaurant again.

I’ve been on the hunt for Crispy Beef in the area for years now, and little did I know that this hole in the wall Chinese take out place in a reasonably empty strip mall serves it. And it was absolutely amazing. I will definitely be back here.

We decided to drive 30 min to try this place out as all of the places near us have gone downhill. I am so happy we found them. Everything is fresh and not overly salty and the best part is the color is natural looking and not neon like a lot of other places that use low quality ingredients. Fresh veggies and delicious sauces. We got general Tsos chicken, orange chicken, beef pad Thai and vegetable lo mein. Everything was amazing. We will be back.

It is the first time I ever got Crispy Beef and it was delicious, glad I read the reviews and tried it. The disappointing item was the “shrimp fried rice”. That was the worst fried rice I have ever had. It definitely wasn’t what I would call fried rice. It was basically white rice with shrimp and little bit of onion in it. NO flavor, not even the color wasn’t what fried rice looks like. Do yourself a favor and don’t pay for the up charge of fried rice, it is NOT good. But definitely try the crispy beef!

Found this place on a Sunday afternoon in an empty strip mall. And I’m glad I did. Probably the best Chinese takeout in the entire Montgomery county. They serve proper dishes with small touches like pineapple in sesame chicken. Their fried rice is one of the best I’ve had in a while, and the lo mein, while not the best texture, is packed with flavor. The pork egg roll is nice and fresh, with no taste of rancid lard whatsoever. They should be way busier than that. Anyway, let’s hope they keep everything consistent.

Absolutely delicious!! We are so picky with our Chinese food and now that we’ve had it twice (just this week), I felt compelled to write a review. Mom and pop shop, authentic, 10/10. The picture is of their crispy beef, which my husband loved! The sesame chicken and pad Thai were great! The nuggets and pizza roll are toddler approved! Go try it out, you’ll make this your new spot too!

This place just opened and they have the best Chinese food around! We’ve loved everything we’ve had here. Wonton soup is super tasty. Mango chicken has a sweet mango sauce and served with zucchini, carrots, and fresh pieces of mango. Orange chicken is a nice balance of sweet, spicy, and citrus. My partner likes the sesame chicken. The general tsos chicken is also very good, but it’s more of a sweet chili sauce than the standard general tsos sauce. The best part is that they use all white meat in the chicken dishes which makes them so delicious. Vegetable lo mein was good. Also recommend the spring rolls and pizza rolls for appetizers! Large portions. Easy to order online. Plenty of parking.

I’m going with the assumption that that all the 4 and 5 star reviewers experienced their only Chinese food ever at Amber. I got the sweet and sour chicken and kung pao chicken. The kung pao looked up to standards but wasn’t spicy and lacked flavor with very little sauce. Now onto the sweet and sour chicken….I’ve had it once in a while over the past 40 years at probably 30 different restaurants around the country and ina few other countries. This is the first time it ever came with a clear vinegar sauce with some orange floaties….definitely NOT sweet and sour chicken. Sooooo I’m left with the conclusion that there is not one decent Chinese restaurant within 25 miles of Chalfont

This was formally the Amber Asian Cafe in Lansdale. Re-Opened March 12th 2023 with the same owner Wendy. Food is just as good as before, big portions, flavorful delicious noodles and chicken! The chicken pad thai can’t be beat anywhere. Highly recommend!
