Great and cheap place for whole family! Easy to find what you want especially when you are limited in English. My favorites here – on pictures. They also sold me my favorite fish when I requested.

The minus – restrooms need to be more taken care of.

Over all very disappointing experience. They have a large buffet but nothing was labeled, most of it was cool not warm, also even the fried chicken no sauce was somehow soggy? The crab Rangoon was the best part of the entire meal! My tuna roll was not chilled to the correct temperature either hopefully I don’t get sick later. The server never even introduced herself! Just set the drink down and walked away. I will not be returning. Very poor experience to say the least. Wished it had been better.

The food was really well worth the price especially the fact that we are traveling the only problem with the food there’s not enough room in my stomach to eat everything because it was really good

I was visiting Springfield, MO yesterday and had a craving for stir fry. I came across Amazin Buffet on South Campbell Ave and decided to stop in after seeing it had a rating above 4.0. Unfortunately, my experience didn’t live up to the reviews.

From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere felt off. The hostess was unwelcoming and seemed annoyed when I politely requested a booth instead of the crowded section she initially directed me to. First impressions matter—especially for new guests—and this one didn’t set a positive tone.

My server was prompt and friendly, which I appreciated, but things went downhill from there. While the buffet looked decent at first glance, I quickly noticed how unclean the restaurant was. The floors, lobby, and even the restrooms were noticeably dirty.

As for the food, most of what I tried—Hibachi chicken, beef with broccoli, spicy shrimp, and other chicken dishes—was lukewarm, bland, or tasted slightly burnt. I went back to try a few more items hoping for better results, but it was more of the same.

To top things off, when I went to pay, the cashier seemed irritated that I only had a larger bill, and there was zero appreciation shown for my business.

Overall, I left feeling disappointed and still hungry. This place needs a serious reevaluation in terms of cleanliness, food quality, and customer service. I won’t be returning.

Grub Score 2/10

This place is not the best they have rubber texture pot sticker. The sushi was hot and the crab was not even good. The thing that need to be hot was cold. The best thing was sweet donuts but that all that we would eat. Never will eat again or tell people to eat.

It was very busy but they had plenty of space for my group of seven. They charge you as if you’re going to have lobster or crab even if you don’t so go ahead and have it. For 7 people it cost me 155.09 then I gave the waitress 20.00 so have money when you go.

This is the best buffet. I have been to nearly every chinese buffet in springfield and surounding areas. They have the most options and their food is very good. The employees are very kind as well. You do get what you pay for.. although it may seem high, it is worth it compared to others.

I think I have only eaten here once before, but I can see myself coming back occasionally. The atmosphere when I went on a Monday evening was pretty relaxed and quiet. Food was plentiful. I’m not sure if I like or dislike the lack of sweet desert choices. It’s mostly fruits. Can’t complain.
I like the Veterans discount offered. For my daughter and I the total for the buffet and a drink a piece was a little under $36.31

I’m actually going to spend my review discussing the things I’ve seen in other reviews.
The atmosphere here is nice. Bright enough to see without any blaring fluorescence. Each time I’ve been here they have these delightful fairy lights framing the buffet itself, and the signature cherry tree up front is gorgeous.

The food, in my experience, the variety is incredible and the bar is kept plenty warm. However, it’s not painfully hot. You can dig in right away. If you’re definition of lukewarm is “you don’t have to blow on it first”, you may not like it here.
However, the staff seemed to have a tough time keeping supply up on the more popular items such as the crab legs. Which tells me they were making sure to cook them properly rather than rushing them out.

The sushi bar is one of the more expensive ones that I’ve seen. I always have the sashimi (straight tuna and salmon) when I’m here and so far I’ve never gotten ill. It’s all properly cured and temped.

Staff if quick to take actionfor plates and drinks, but not very chatty. Some may appreciate that, like myself.

Mind you, all of this while the place is /packed/ for the dinner hour on a Saturday.

I can’t confirm that this is the experience all the time, but it’s always been mine.

It started off fine, some of the food was cold but I didn’t mind it. Then it became a nightmare. The scallops weren’t scallops at all, it was chopped up crab and cream cheese, the shrimp literally mushed in my fingers like mashed potatoes, and I found a blue piece of plastic in my food. After that, I was done. The bill was $55, I gave them $60 in cash and left very disappointed.
