Sorry guys….I was NOT impressed. We walked in at lunch, the place reeked of pine sol and this stayed in my nostril the entire meal. Then the salsa came out with chips. Salsa was watered down….and sour. I ordered queso….this too was watery. I truly thought it was some kind of soup. Then the meal came, the beef fajita meat was sour and upset my stomach. Definitely not coming back.

As a few others reviews have said, the food was sub par. The shrimp was fishy and chewy and most likely was frozen which would explain. I had the beef chimichanga which tasted bitter. The meat had little flavor aside from the bitterness.

Used to love to go here. Got a to go order today and ended up sick as a dog. When first biting into my food I realized it didn’t taste right, upon further review as you can see, they do not cook their meat thoroughly at all, this is their puffy taco dinner very much with the beef not cooked all the way. We have gone here for years, but will no longer attend this place. I’m not sure what the reason is for getting lazy, but it is inexcusable and they’ve got one very sick and unhappy customer over it.

My husband got the whole cat fish plate and said it was very good. My granddaughter hot the kids enchilada plate and I got one of the combo plates. The food is always good and close to house.

Staying at Villas of Ovilla bnb, found our Mex food fix at Amayas! Snappy service, food was really good but the frozen marg won us over. No music so that’s what lowered the score here… patio may have elevated our visit but we’d go back
