Amarone sits at the centre of Aberdeen and its interior is very spacious with a bar area and a fancy feeling to the dining area. Food was satisfactory with some small details here and there. For a 12-hour cook, I expected the pork belly to be more tender (felt like a 6-hour cook) but the sides were excellent. Moreover, the Carbonara was good but not quite the perfect Italian taste and the Pollo Milanese was very tender with a tasty batter and great pasta to accompany it. The atmosphere is great and service is fine with a nice pepper/cheese topping tradition (as it seems in the restaurant).

Lovely Italian restaurant in downtown Aberdeen. Duck liver pate, prawn Caesar salad and root vegetables in honey were all excellent. Service very quick, staff lovely. Highly recommend.

Been a few times and to be honest it never disappoints!! We had an early.dinner as we had our Neice with us, that’s the only reason there was a low score for atmosphere, NOT our Neice, just the time of our dining experience.
From being seated to leaving, we were treated like we were the only ones there and from watching all the other staff every other table received the same service. What a treat to see hospitality and service at its best.
Pretty pricey to be honest, the food is really good mauve slightly larger portions especially the starter of black pudding. Would have been happy with the bill of £120 had the portions been slightly bigger!! But quality was fantastic.
Again the team there are all amazing!!! We’ll be back for sure.

A great place to go for a meal. We went for a birthday celebration and the staff were fabulous and very attentive and chatty. They were very accommodating for my 6 month old neice and provided a high chair and spacious table to dine at. They regularly checked on us and made sure we were ok. The food was absolutely delicious and beautifully presented. Great menu and drinks options. We had a lovely rose wine. Everything was reasonably priced. Would highly reccomend. Thank you!
