Though the place had good reviews we kept our expectations low because of multiple disappointments and gave it a try. We ordered Indian style fries, chinese bhel and veg garlic noodles.
The Indian style fries seemed like normal fries coated with chilli powder. The Chinese bhel was okay but would have been better with more veggies than just onions. The chilli garlic noodles was just average. Couldn’t smell or taste garlic. It seemed like normal plain noodles.
Overall the place is okay. Nothing great but I would definitely give this place another chance and try their dosas or Andhra special items on the menu to see how they taste. We were told the management changed recently. Hope they do better.

Our first visit here was on a Thursday, which happens to be DOSA night. This is a southern Indian restaurant. The flavors are different from other indian restaurant, because theybserve southern indian cuisine. Dosa is an amazing crepes style dish that is savory and exotic taste. I see it being the next big thing because its gluden free and its amazing versatility. We tried the almost all the style dosa they offer. The Paper dosa and the sweet dessert style dosa are our favorite.
The staff here are wonderfully attentive and the dishes are executed prefectly. If you like indian food this place is must try aand add to your cultural food rotation.
Try the masala tea, its very good and complex. The location of the restaurant is very convinient and parking is plentiful during dinner, it might get busy during lunch hour.
The restaurant is clean and well lit. I look forward to try their other promotion nights. The have a facebook page where they announce weekly specials. DOSA night on Thursday is a must. Step out of your norm and try the Dosa you will have something interesting to share with your friends.

I discovered this little gem of an Indian restaurant while in Mooresville NC. First off the reason why I call this restaurant a little gem is it is hidden in Mooresville. While using Google Maps I passed this restaurant but I am glad that I turned around and found the place. When you come in just step up to the counter and ring the bell. The menu is on the front table. If you are looking for a dish that is not on the menu, just ask like I did and was pleased that the dish I can not pronounce was able to be made. The heat scale is 1to 10. I got a 6 and it was medium. When I come back I will try an 8 as I like my Indian food spicy. I really enjoyed the food and the no no nonsense simple atmosphere.

Amaravathi grill serves delicious south and north Indian food. Their menu is exhaustive and covers a lot of different indian cuisine. Loved the Kothu parotta and chettinadu biriyani. Reasonable price and excellent customer service. Highly recommend

I was blown away by the excellent quality of the food and the attentive service from the moment I walked in the door. I moved here from FL recently and haven’t had much time or energy to cook so this was a special treat. Sukriya. Buttered chicken with garlic naan mmmm. Next time I will try the dosas

Please stop and give this place a try. Awesome, freshly cooked food; Staff has been great and service wonderful. Have eaten here many times since they opened and everything has been wonderfully pleasant! Please stop in on the weekend for the buffet to test the waters: I dont think you will be disappointed.

It was our first time eating there and the food was tremendous! We had lollipop wings for appetizer and they were excellent! I had the spicy curry chicken and my wife had chicken tikka dish. Both dishes were phenomenal and large portions! Will definitely be going back!

My family have been going to Amaravati since they opened. The previous Indian restaurants that occupied the space were letdowns, but they were conveniently located. Since Amaravati opened, it’s been awesome! The service is excellent, they did wonders with the interior and everything is well presented, down to the menu.
My personal favorite discovery here is the “Apollo Fish” appetizer. Seriously hot, but insanely delicious. I highly recommend it and the restaurant in general. We’ve been so happy to have these guys open so close to us and it is a regular haunt for us now.

We are in town from NYC visiting family and decided to try this place. What a pleasant surprise! Definitely some of the best Indian food we ever had! An extensive menu covering multiple regions. Everything we tried was excellent. Friendly staff and a great vibe. Highly recommend!!
