I’ve never felt compelled to write a restaurant review—until our experience last night at Aman’s. It’s been a long time since dining out truly felt like a great value. Too often the food is just meh, and the service rarely justifies the expected gratuity. That all changed last night.

The food was outstanding, and the portion sizes were absolutely spot on. The service was worth every penny, and the ambience was just right. Our server, Gabbie, was a delight—patient, knowledgeable, and genuinely attentive. As first-timers at an Indian restaurant, my wife and I had a lot of questions, and she took the time to answer every one without hesitation. We later learned she’s a local high school student, which made her professionalism and work ethic even more impressive. Her parents should be very proud, and the management has a young employee who represents the restaurant exceptionally well.

Even the restrooms were impeccably clean. I honestly can’t think of a single thing to complain about—other than wishing I lived closer so I could dine at Aman’s more often.

If I could give more than five stars, I absolutely would.

Aman’s Artisan Indian Cuisine was phenomenal from start to finish. The service was hands down amazing — they took the time to explain that everything is cooked fresh to order, so cook times may be longer, which we truly appreciated. They checked on us multiple times and made us feel genuinely welcomed.

The food was outstanding. The chicken pakoras were incredibly tender and perfectly cooked, served with a variety of delicious sauces. The butter chicken was rich, flavorful, and truly melt-in-your-mouth delicious. The rice was light, fluffy, and cooked perfectly, and the naan was hands down the BEST naan I’ve ever had — fresh, soft, and irresistible.

This place is a must-visit for anyone who loves authentic, high-quality Indian cuisine. We will absolutely be back!

Great restaurant! Aman’s has been on our list to visit for a few years, and we say we’ll go each time I visit my parents. The food was excellent! We enjoyed each dish and recommend going hungry – the portions are generous. We will definitely be back next time to try more dishes!

I want to start by commending the atmosphere and service of the restaurant. I’m not a big fan of tipping culture but I think locking in a standard 20% that can’t go higher is actually a good idea.

The food was very good but ultimately, not the best I’ve had. It’s wildly overpriced for the amount you get and making people pay extra for *any* rice at all is ridiculous. And $6 for plain bismati rice is crazy. A basic curry dish should always include rice in the cost, it’s not like I’m gonna sit there and eat lamb korma completely by itself. I was also disappointed that the food was not very spicy, even when I requested maximum spice.
Lastly, the Manchurian Gobhi was not very crispy.

This place is definitely good, but you can get similar or better quality food for about 30-40% cheaper. You’re really paying a lot extra for atmosphere and service.

Beautiful location, middle of little town of Easton. Great food – we tried Dal makhani , Saag, Lachaa Paratha and Coriander Nan. Paneer was fresh from the farm as chef mentioned.Little pricey but worth every penny.

My friends and I got butter chicken & chicken tiki masala. They were both 10/10. The chicken was delicious, tender and flavorful. We also got henna tattoos! We enjoyed our time!

The food? Absolutely divine—bursting with flavor, every bite packed with that perfect blend of spices that just dances on your tongue. It’s not just delicious, it’s healthy too, which is such a win. And for my vegan friends out there, they’ve got you covered with some seriously tasty vegan-friendly options. You can bring your own bottle of wine, which is awesome—makes for a fun, personalized vibe. The staff? Super friendly, like they’re genuinely happy you’re there, making the whole experience feel warm and welcoming. And the ambiance? Oh, it’s so pleasant—cozy, inviting, and just the right spot to savor every moment. Honestly, I thought Jersey City had the best Indian food, but Amman’s might just take the crown. You’ve gotta try it!

Overall took way too long for food we found lacking. I wish I could leave a good review, but we had a pretty poor experience. Our reservation was for 7:15 and we were seated immediately. The restaurant looks very nice and clean. One table next to us was finishing up and paying their bill. The other take next to us was vacant. I was happy about this as the tables are a little tight together. Our server brought water and said he would be back to take our order. That all seemed to go fine. The menu does say the tandoori items take 30+ min. We didn’t order that because the menu also says their food is made to order and may take 1hr. So they know that and think it’s ok. I did not realize that as I’ve never had Indian food taken so long anywhere else. We love Indian food and have had it in many other places. Really waiting 1hr plus for any cuisine is not something I want to do. If that’s what you’re expecting then have at it. We ordered chicken tikka, goat curry and dal. All this should be mostly prepared anyway as Indian flavors are best when developed. About 20 min later the table next to us was seated and quickly said they were ready to order. Their appetizers came out before we had anything despite having already been waiting a while. Maybe we should have only ordered aps. Almost and hour and 20 min later we received our food. It was sub par. The dal was runny and flavor very herbal and not like any I’d had (I’ve had plenty). The tikka was kinda grainy and the goat curry flavor was basic. We really were hungry so you would think it would be ok, but we didn’t like anybody it. They call it artisinal and made to order, but come on, when pressed they did say it was made in batch (as it should be). Regardless eating at 8:45 on a 7:15 reservation was not what we wanted. The owner did come ask what we thought and we were honest with everything we said. When told we thought the food was bad they offered we could order something else, but who would wait another hour+. We ate maybe 10% of all items we ordered and asked for the check and told them we didn’t like it. They offered boxes. We declined. The check came and nothing was comped. We asked for the dal (which we thought was the worst item) to be removed and paid. The check has a 20% fixed tip automatically added. That is listed on the menu. Photos included shownour table.at 1hr 20 min still waiting, and then what we ordered and how much we ate. Don’t go without planning on a very slow pace.

P. Jasi, Sukhy, and the third brother (sorry don’t have his name), along with their father Baldev, are absolutely at the helm of this incredible restaurant! The moment you step in to when you leave, you are enveloped in the warmth of their hospitality. It is wonderful to have a few authentic Kenyan items on the menu that transported me back to a nostalgic feeling—specifically the fish pakora, maru bhajiyas, the perfectly thin and crispy samosas, and the delicious mishkaki chicken! Of course the cilantro or jeera naan- thin and hmm just loved the softness and a little crispiness with aromatic flavor. The dessert- sheer was an absolute delight, a perfect harmony of subtly of sweetness with nuts! The ambiance is lovely, and the service is great. A true gem in Easton!

The best butter chicken I have ever had!! I’ve always had butter chicken where it’s too spicy for me and this one was perfect! I was actually able to eat my whole dish. My fiancé had the curry goat and it was delicious! Service was okay. Definitely could’ve had more of a greeting. It was my first time there and I could’ve used more knowledge on the menu.
