Nice intimate place with an attentive owner or chef that came and asked how our meal was which was a nice touch. The foccacia bread, arancini, Caesar salad were really good and so was the pesto sauce dish. The vodka sauce tasted like metal so I would try something else next time. Smaller portions like in Italy. I would give it a 4.5 but it is either a 4 or 5 and a 5 is perfect which it wasn’t so 4 it is.

This place used to be great and consistent! Started going downhill and I am very disappointed
Was charged $4 for add-on chicken for my build your own pasta and it was not included in my delivery! Ordered focaccia and they came burnt! Smh

Fantastic homemade food! From the ciabatta bread, to the salad, artichoke hearts, to all 3 dinners. Magnificent prepared meals. Well worth the wait. Cheers!

Listen, I am Sicilian and this place makes the best pasta I have had outside of Italy. Period. The kid cooking is only 22 yet somehow is a prodigy. WILDLY impressed with this place! Worth a drive and a half! I make $10,000 to $30,000 per week and I have eaten at the finest dining establishments. This place is out of the norm but on par still without a question! Oh and MY GOD is the bread the lightest and most well seasoned/oiled bread EVER!!!

Now offering table service, my fiancée and I were excited to revisit A’mano. When her dish came, the chicken looked as if it had been sitting out for hours. It was dry, overcooked, and stringy. My dish, pesto alla genovese, was heavy on the pesto and the portion was quite modest for the price. When we explained this, A’mano gave us the bill and declined to comp us for the chicken or her meal itself, which was frankly underwhelming, chicken aside. We had about two bites before leaving and paying $40 for a regrettable dining experience. Compared to 2 years ago, this establishment lost its character as a once-casual place to get good pasta. Avoid. Go to Inizio if you care for handmade pasta and table service. Or just make pasta at home—it’ll probably be better.

What a great surprise! I was intrigued by their claim of making their pasta in house daily, and saw that they also have a gluten free pasta option.
I chose the gluten free pasta with vodka sauce, broccoli, and chicken. It is easily one of the best gluten free pastas I’ve ever tried!
The portions are great, they were generous with the chicken and the broccoli, and everything came together beautifully.
My husband had the bolognese, and he said it was very flavorful, the pasta was obviously fresh, and there was an excellent amount of meat in the sauce.
The only reason I can’t give a full 10/10 is because they don’t offer fountain drinks, only bottles and cans.
The restaurant is cozy and welcoming, the chef and staff are wonderful, and if I lived closer, I would absolutely be coming back!

My husband and I ordered this off of DoorDash. The food was delicious. I opted to get the “regular” sized portion as shown in the photographs because I thought it would be regular sized but it was literally the size of my palm. I laughed when I saw it. My husband got the large and you can see the vast difference. This is a predatory portion.

Two people dined in, both ordered the large portion of pasta. My friend ordered pasta rigatoni with vodka/blush and grilled chicken. I tried a bite of that dish, and it wasn’t my favorite but my friend very much enjoyed his dish. I thought for vodka sauce it was on the sweeter side. The grilled chicken also didn’t look grilled, it looked boiled, again my friend liked it. I ordered spaghetti bolognese, it was salty and delicious. One critique is the pasta was overcooked. I do perfer my pasta al dente & the spaghetti was very soft and clumping together like an angel hair would. I loved the piece of focaccia with olive oil and garlic, it was delicious. I also think she shredded Parmesan is a wonderful addition. Shoutout to the chef who kindly showed my friend the difference between parm and shredded parm with no hesitation. Very friendly gentleman behind the counter. The atmosphere itself is really lovely & I will be returning.

We love Amano for takeout. You can customize your order to exactly what you’d like. I have noticed their timing for when to pick up your order is often far too soon, and you wind up waiting at the restaurant. It’s delicious though, so we don’t mind the wait. They should consider just adding some time to the projected order completion on busy nights.

Walking into the restaurant was nice, it was a warming atmosphere and smelled delicious too. I really love the open kitchen style and the sitting area is simple and comfortable. Service was very kind and respectful. 10/10
