As someone with celiac disease, I was so impressed. The staff went over all the gluten-free options, explained their separate prep area and toaster, and made sure my allergy was noted. The food was delicious, the coffee was great, and the vibe is super fun and cozy.

From the moment we walked in, the vibe was buzzing—hip, modern, and full of energy. My wife ordered the bagel sandwich, and each bite delivered a burst of freshness, especially thanks to the vibrant, delicious pesto. I went with the Pastrami and Swiss, which was packed with bold, savory flavor, though the bread slightly outbalanced the fillings—I’d love a bit more pastrami next time! The fries were outstanding: perfectly crisp and golden, clearly made with care. To round out the meal, the organic tea amazed me with its subtle yet perfectly balanced flavors. Altogether, it’s easy to see why this spot draws a crowd. We left already planning our next visit.

We live in the city and Amanita has quickly turned into one of our favorites breakfast spots in Lancaster. The food is fresh. Prices are fair. And the atmosphere is relaxing and kid friendly! Definitely recommend.

Great service here. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable.
Coffee: serves Passenger Coffee (not a fan, notes are tin and sour from Ethiopian beans)
Breads: serves Elsewhere breads. Not too sweet like others, but supposed to be sourdough (didn’t get the taste)
Cookies: serves Front Porch cookies and biscotti. Biscotti were good.
I would like to try their lunch menu but we came too early.

Most amazing restaurant in Lancaster. Such fresh food, amazing unique menu and foods. Literally everything we had was fantastic. A true farm to table experience.

One of Lancaster City’s more hidden treasures. Dishes are creative and delicious made with clearly fresh, local ingredients. Would recommend visiting on a fair weather day and then enjoy a walk around the surrounding blocks. It’s a beautiful part of the city. Also one of the few sidewalk dining spots around.

LOVE the atmosphere. Some really unique and solid food options with decent coffee as well. Unfortunately, it took 50 minutes to get our food after ordering it because our order was deleted and we had to say something to get this fixed with them never noticing us waiting. It would be so easy to avoid this if they just took the order number from your table after bringing your order so they could see who hasn’t gotten their food/drink yet

Decided to stop in on a whim and wasn’t disappointed. I hadn’t visited since they moved locations, and I adore how the new space looks and feels.
Food was tasty (hummus and mushroom toast with butternut squash soup) and my toddler and I loved the kombucha. Natural light fills the space and the mossy, woodsy decor is so cosy. Thank you for a lovely sporadic stop in our day’s journey.<3

I do not often leave reviews. Was just wanting breakfast, and was pleasantly surprised they also had great coffee (pretty cute latte art). Breakfast was a bonus. We ordered the bacon egg and cheese bagels with a side of home fries. Vibes were great. Brought the littles as well, and they cleaned the plates.

Everything is so fresh and bursting with flavor! Quality and care emanate from every serving. Everything has been deliciously addicting; the food, the drinks, & the ambiance! Easily my favorite choice for breakfast and lunch! Love it all — the bagels, the shakshuka, the soups and the salads, the house-made hummus and falafel, and the burger and fresh cut fries! Gotta be THE BEST BURGER I’ve ever had, twas seasoned to perfection! (I’ll try to remember to take photos but the flavors are just too captivating!) You gotta try it!
