Our first time to Amalfi Taste, and we were greeted by the owner. Catherine took care of my wife and me this evening. We started with the fig and goat cheese flatbread, a nicely balanced and light antipasti. My wife ordered the scallop risotto, which was lemon zesty with perfectly done scallops. I had the pappardelle with lobster, also a perfectly prepared dish. For dessert, we had tiramisu and limoncello cake, both light and wonderful. We enjoyed the concise wine list and cocktail menu. The staff was great, the food wonderful… we will be back!!

This restaurant in Woodforest is amazing! I visited for a birthday party and thoroughly enjoyed the food and service. I ordered the margarita pizza, which I definitely recommend, although I felt it needed a bit more flavor—that might just be my personal taste. I also noticed that the table didn’t have salt or pepper.
They started us off with appetizers, which were bread rolls served with what I believe was avocado oil. They were so delicious that I ended up eating all of them in one sitting! I was surprised by the size of the pizza; I thought it would be small, but it’s actually quite big. If you plan on ordering it, make sure to bring a friend to share!
As for the service, it was excellent! The food for our group of 14 was served in about 25-30 minutes, which I think is impressive. We had two servers taking care of us. One of them, named Tony, introduced himself and was wonderful—always checking in to see how we were doing and making conversation. The other server was also very nice.
I especially want to thank them for their patience with our loud group. If you live in Woodforest and are looking for a great restaurant, I highly recommend Amalfi Tastes!

Took my bestie for her birthday and the owner Dorian made the experience magical for all of us! And our waitress Katherine was top notch and very attentive. We started with lobster bisque, and had warm rolls at the table. Cocktails and wine were amazing. Then had table side fettuccine & shrimp cooked in the Parmesan cheese wheel. Such an awesome experience and so delicious as well. Best night ever.

Wow!! Absolutely blown away by our experience this evening. We’ve seen all the great reviews and decided to have dinner here to celebrate our anniversary. Food was so fresh and flavorful. Our waiter, Anthony made the experience even better. He was friendly, professional and had great recommendations. We will definitely be back.

The best food the best service and the best atmosphere around. We dined on NYE and while they were packed the service was extremely fast for drinks and for the food. The service at Amalfi Taste was excellent, the staff was friendly and attentive, and the restaurant itself is clean and modern. That said, the atmosphere felt very bright and the music louder than expected for Italian dining. I would describe this as a more lunch spot vs dinner/date. Looking at other reviews it does appear that they dim the lights and put table lights out at night, even considering this, it would not be my pick for a date night.
Unfortunately, the food didn’t meet our expectations, I’d rate it about 2/5. My husband and I ordered just an entrée each, no drinks, appetizers, or dessert, and our total was $50, which felt a bit high for the portion size and quality.
With some adjustments to the flavor and ambiance, this restaurant has the potential to be a really great spot but it’s just not there for us at this time.

Second time having Amalfi Taste, and it didn’t disappoint. For my birthday, I wanted a classy but not stuffy restaurant with great pizza. It was on a Monday and to my delight, the night’s special included a free pizza with purchase of a bottle of wine! Absolutely delicious! The service was excellent too, Anthony was knowledgeable and friendly, and just the right amount of attentive – a true gem! 10/10!
