If I could say this was the lowest quality pizza I ever ordered this would absolutely be the occasion. I ordered 3 party sheet pizzas for a birthday party celebration I was hosting and was recommended by a friend. First off the pizzas in the center of the pies were undercooked.. the biggest waste of money I had this year so far as we ended up throwing out pretty much 2 whole party sheets as people only ate the cheese one and there were still left overs from that box too. The pizza was super thick crust; and also just not at all tasteful.
I’m more upset I literally spent money to have to throw it all away.
I ordered
1 veggie (very heavily decorated with veggies but it was extremely lacking in flavor) and some parts of the pizza were not cooked all the way through especially in the center.
1 cheese (the only pizza that was at least bearable to digest but again lacking in flavor, not tasteful at all, and very thick for no apparent reason as it wasn’t even heavily sauced or anything)
1 buffalo chicken (honestly I don’t even know what this was/ a healthy version? Not every slice was coated with the buffalo sauce and I guess I should’ve read the menu better as why did it have tomatoes?? Honestly this one I would never order again.)
I ate at this establishment a few years back and loved their thin pizza but I guess they’ve switched up their menu, cook, and quality of products served.
I would not recommend this restaurant as it was truly a waste of money.

This is Italy, not only were there 4 guys eating and speaking Italian in the corner, the song Will Ferrell sang in “Step Brother’s” was playing in the background. The atmosphere was set. Great service and a beautiful personal touch. I got the veal parmesan with angel hair pasta with their bouglonese meat sauce. They brought out homemade bread & butter and salami, Italian much? Then a side salad with parmesan peppercorn dressing, awesome! Everything was beyond perfect. I ended up meeting the owners, Tony and Yaya, great people and the perfect ending to a perfect late lunch. Go here, I’m sure you will agree.

Food was excellent. I had pasta with meatballs and salad with bread. Very good! I would like to try the pizza soon. Place needs some sprucing up outside. Bushes are overgrown making it difficult to see that they are there. Overall a good experience. Give it a try!

I hate to kick a small business when they are down. It is clear that this business is suffering and barely hanging in there, but I have to keep it real.
In my earlier posts about Via Al Parasio on Grand Street, in Waterbury, Ct.. Amalfais Italian Restaurant is where my husband wanted to go to get more food. We used to frequent this restaurant when they were located on Chase Avenue in Waterbury, Ct. They made a huge mistake moving. The place outside looks like the building has been abandoned!!! The landscaping needs much tending to, and you can’t even see it from the road. He ordered the Veal Parmesan and it looked great, but unfortunately it was awful. ( my husband hardly ever says something is bad) He is not a picky eater. I did eat the bread for a couple of days.( I don’t eat a lot, so the small loaf took a while for me to eat) The salad was good, after I remade it for my husband. I added spring mix, olives , pepper, garden tomatoes, more cucumbers, beets and cheese.
I wish them luck or help from somewhere so they can put a lot more effort in serving edible food. Good luck to them and blessings.

When I have to wait an extra 26 minutes for my order I should at least receive quality food. This pizza was burnt and dried out. Don’t expect to receive anything close to the pictures they have posted. Definitely not brick oven it was forgotten in the oven. First and last time it was surely not worth the $46 paid wish i would have been shown the food before tipping because this wasn’t worth it.

I called and receive the friendliest phone service from the male working. I ordered the fettuccine Alfredo with shrimp and broccoli and Ohhh my GREATNESS. The shrimps was perfect size and they gave a great amount of broccoli. It was a lil pricey but it was worth it. The picture is not how I got it It looked so pretty. I waited to late to take a picture. ( never rate or post pictures of food but I did this time because I had to tell someone.)

Super disappointed tonight. Have been to Amalfi’s quite a few times with little issue, but tonight was a catastrophe. First, we were told 25 mins, and it took a little over double that. We live 6 minutes away and when we got home, the pizza was cold…Not even partially warm, it was completely cold. The chicken parm grinder was completely bland and had pasta intertwined in it which I found pretty odd. The Shrimp Fra Diavolo barely had any sauce, and was also bland, and definitely not Fra Diavolo sauce, and bread they gave us looked like it had something spilled on it. Lastly, and this is minor but another oddity…they gave us the pizza in a Crown Pizza box, and gave us our bread in a Popeyes bag. I don’t know what happened tonight, but very unlikely we will be back.

Have only ordered take out but it looks great inside. The prices and and the servings are awesome. We love the freshly baked bread! Pasta and their grinders are top notch. And ask you to try their the calzone! Order a smorgasbord and enjoy. Awesome food and great people!
